Clark loses the rematch with Roberts 3-5. Almost had a late takedown to win it.

We need to wake up and be more aggressive on our feet and look to score.

Now another review for who knows what in White's match.
Complete 180 from the Minnesota match. We went back into a shell, everyone is tentative.

And another challenge lost.

White loses too now. Ugly start this session. He controlled Marines 8-4 in the dual.

Nothing so far is very surprising. I would have liked to see Smith get through to the second round. Olivieri has been the only one with high expectations, and even he didn't look overwhelming. It was his first B1G opponent this year. Brace yourselves.

Looking at brackets its going to be hard to auto qualify a bunch of these guys with 1st round losses. Some bad matchups.

PInto showing some life, sucks on bottom but at least he's getting takedowns.

Gets the DQ after beating up his opponent.

What does a medical forfeit do on team scoring? Is it treated like a pin?

No, but do you see him making a run through the back side of the bracket the way he just wrestled?
I honestly don’t know enough about it to guess one way or the other – – I just thought that you were saying that he would not get an opportunity for a second match.

Well at least Barbosa, Pinto, SCW, Cotton and Cafka won and advanced to the 1/4’s so now go out and wrestle aggressively.

So if I understand correctly, seven of 10 won and they were two challenge bricks away from having nine of 10 with the 10th just missing a last second takedown. I know people who followed this closer than me were looking for more – – but is this really such a complete disaster of a performance?

Smith path to top 8 is beating Jackson from Purdue then the Volk/Moore loser in R12
Shawver will see Spidle in the R12
if Joey loses to Hardy he ll have Porter from Indiana in the R12 then the Davis/Vombuer loser
Clark smh 🤦 will have Block in the R12 and if he gets past that he ll have the McNeil/Young loser
White smh 🤦 has Meal then the Millard/ Webster loser in the R12 then the loser of Duke/Cannon
Barbosa will have Lillard in the R12 then Scoles
I think Pinto can beat Kennedy but if not he’ll have O’Neil/ Condon winner in R12 then the Baugman/ Riddle winner so he can go on a nice run on the backside
SCW will have Goin from indiana in the R12 which is a tough match then he gets the Allred/Fishback loser
Cotton with a good chance to make a run to the finals
Catka was better off losing first round because now his R12 will be the Hopke/Keuter loser

a lot of guys will be 7th/8th at best and a few guys will need wildcards and I’m not sure they will. Catka best win is over the Pac 12 champ by inj def. ..Carroll from Wyoming already needs a WC at 285

Having three guys who are higher seeds lose to guys they beat is not good. This is the round we can score points as only one of our guys is a Top 3 seed. Yes from 165 up was really good with Pinto getting the upset. But 157 down was a disaster, losing 3 out of 5 in all winnable matches.
