100% Hated him knowing he always had the most talent on the court . The coach was the reason why players committed to a school it’s mostly the money. We are not the cool school any longer and we don’t have players beating down the door to play for our coach…. Maybe someday

Cal and all those players that couldn't advance in the NCAA can all meet for a big dinner down to Cooter's Fish Fry in Fayetteville.
The divorce of UK and Cal is tragic and has far reaching implications, including all our former players in the league. He should have retired here. But you are wrong about the blame, it's all on Cal. No one else is at fault for missing the tournament, losing to St Peters and Oakland and winning one NCAAT game in 4 years.
Don’t get me wrong, Cal is washed. Robic was a huge part of his success and losing him was a massive setback for him. But it’s hard to pretend that the boosters holding back NIL for a number of reasons wasn’t silly. At least let the man have a year or two with the millions they gave Pope to see what he could do with it. I’m sure he’d do a lot better than 6th in the league.
