I fished Tamarac for a couple of hours last May and caught 8 nice largemouth and some huge blue gills from shore on live minnows.
I rented a cabin on Wilhelm for a week in May of this year. Thatās my favorite lake.
My favorite memories as a kid are when it rained a lot and the north end of Wilhelm, what we call "the pipes" on cemetery road, would get over and the old road bridge would get flooded and the bass fishing was amazing. That and when the walleye run. Now they opened all that propagation up near there too. Even better.
Elam will win 197 tomorrow night. Assuming both are healthy 2 weeks from now I am having a tough time seeing that he has much to offer Barr.
2nd most fun I ever had fishing as a kid was on a boat on Glendale lake and running into a school of blue gill. For a short period of time every cast brought in a fish. Most fun was on the Juniata during a Cicada hatch. Fish were hitting anything that splashed into the water. You think they would have been fat and happy with all the Cicadas they had eaten, but their appetite apparently was never ending. They may not all have been legal to keep but for a young kid it was a blast.
My wife and I keep a camper on a lot at Camp Wilhelm. She enjoys catching bluegills and I fish for bass. I fish the pipes and the propagation area now that it's open. The picture is one of the bass from the propagation area from last summer.

- Quality Wins (20%) -- beat 4 Ghaliali, 8 Mirasola, 15 Lanosga, 19 Mora, 25 Forbes 2x, 28 Rasmussen.
- Coaches Rank (15%) -- he's #7.
- RPI (10%) -- he's #9.
He'll probably take Win % (10%) -- he's at 73.9% after B12s. Historically very few at large candidates >70%.
And he cannot lose H2H (25%) to 4 at large candidates -- the only guys to beat him who have not yet qualified are Feldman, Mullen, and Hopke. (OK, Shilo, but he's ineligible for an at large.)
