I have no idea what the record is, but this wasn't Brown's fastest. Last year he teched a kid in 36 sec.
That is fast! What is the record for fastest TF?
The ultra-fast TFs seem to rely on Go-Behind takedowns, though I guess they're getting really quick back points, too.

Is there kind of a formula for these TFs? I'm surprised to see such matches in the state tournament.

State College has a few good JH kids coming up next year too. One of which was a PJW champ. Restivo I think his name was.

Having that direct access to PSU and Jason Nickal at the helm for SC is admittedly mighty attractive if you’re a high level kid looking to get access to top tier coaching and partners.

If the PIAA isn’t going to grow a set and put all the privates in one classification, the least they could do would be to require them to all wrestle in the AAA classification. It would be similar to how they require some football programs to jump up a classification after having sustained success, for example Aliquippa football.
