For something a little lighter …

Best names: Sadly there are no entertaining names this year. Worse, a lot of kids whose parents can’t spell … there’s a Jacksin and a Jaccob among others. A shame for the kids.

Cael/Kael count (3):
Kael Kimmy (AA 114)
Cael Muller (AAA 114)
Cael Yanek (AAA 133)

It's a down year for the Cael count. But no Gables, so there's that.

I knew a girl in High School by the name of...Pompy Blueballs.

I always wondered if her parents were high when they named her.

Does anyone recall how long last year's PIAA finals sessions took? Pondering if I can pull off getting down there for the finals and the back for Big Ten semis tomorrow. For reference, I'm only 15-20 from Hershey.

2 hours would be a good estimate. Keep in mind they hold the bouts.

I’m not sure how big of an upset this really is. Santamaria was a fifth place finisher last year and eighth place finisher his sophomore year, so he has some experience and success at this level.
It's a big upset. Wolford last year beat Albanese and twice came within a whisker of beating Bachmann.

And another huge upset, defending state champ and future tan deadlifter Nick Singer goes down.

Nah, he's going to Ohio State. Put 3x champ Keanu Dillard on the cover.
Anyone else is fine with me. I have Bassett exhaustion at this point and FLO slobbers all over him daily. I guess next year they move on to make Keegan out to be the next Kolat.

...or at least whether Mrs. Blueballs was when she accepted Mr. Blueballs' proposal of marriage...

Well, then maybe Wolford overlooked the scrappy kid from D5?

I like watching Teag. Moves a lot like his dad (not surprising). Not sure how "good" he is (you all can fill me in), but he's got some good stuff.

Fun match. Enjoyed watching Horwat. Stylistically very similar to how I wrestled, but he's actually good!

In the battle of the Roccos, Allegretto beats Reifer 4-1 in 172 consys.
Damn. Will Edwards also lost in the consy. Getting harder and harder to compete in D6, but 2 BEA guys in semis and The kid from Tyrone there also

That’s a huge upset. Singer was ranked #1 in the country to start the season. I think he’s still top 4

Posting a rumor here:

Some interesting rumblings out of Hershey that Jayden O'Farrill (McCort Wrestler and #5 Big Board in 2028, was injured this year and missed the season) is leaving McCort and moving to State College HS to train under Jason Nickal and also workout at NLWC. Goes without saying this also more or less means his commitment to PSU is basically done (would obviously not be official for a bit since he's only a sophomore)

Also was told don't be surprised if this is the first of many that do something similar. Stillwater has a farm system and there's no reason State College shouldn't either.

D6 is having a great tourney. I wouldn't be surprised if they have the most semifinalists.

Iirc ... O'Farrill has a real unorthodox style for upper weight?
Regardless of ranking he might be a good practice partner by presenting a different style.

Is the move to State College HS and compete for them or move to State College and train at the NLWC like Lee/Haines/Kasak/Ryder with taking HS classes online? If the intention is to compete for SCHS, how will the PIAA view this? Will he be eligible? Because, god forbid, a kid move for athletics in the public school system, but transfer to a private school with a sports pipeline mentality and it’s fine.
