So for all of the bitching by people, only 9 positions were flipped, and only 3 in the top 3 seeds
Seems like the algorithm wasn't that bad, and adding a true H2H would have fixed most of the issues (as well as not double counting a few of the criteria) . We'll see what they do next year
Or was the intent to get everyone talking and excited about this, as it has been in the wrestling news since released. If it came out like this, there would have been only 15 minutes of discussion about the seeds.
As @Coastal2 cited, the 15 point limit prohibited other changes that should have been made. For example Ferrari at 8 and Cannon at 7 are ridiculous. (Edit: Imho, both should've been 6 seeds to not unnecessarily punish the 1/2 seeds.) Yes, the algorithm is that bad and needs serious updating if they want to continue to use it next sesson.
