Without seeing the actual numbers it is impossible to say, but I wonder if that is true. Yes, 15 is a much smaller percentage of 1300 than 100, but there is also an offset impact in the 1300 that does not exist in the 100. For example, on the 100 point scale it looks like Levi Haines was much more than 15 points behind Chris Minto, but once you bring in the other 12 wrestler comparisons the gap closed to a rumored 12 points.

Actually, the first round of the day is a great round for a 1-seed to get upset. I wonder if there are statistics on this: do more 1-seeds get upset in their first round or their second round? In you OPINION , wrestlers should skip world championships to wrestle in a November tournament, with many teams they already meet in the regular season. PSU also wrestled the top teams in the toughest conference. The reason their schedule isn’t stronger is because they can’t wrestle themselves.
