Can I say that having an El_Jefe and an Efejle is unsustainable. It makes my brain stop functioning each time I see it.
Remember attending ESU Wrestling Camp in the summer of 1990, he was one of the coaches and during a Q and A session someone asked him about weight management, he said something like " I can help in a lot of areas, weight control is not one of them, I will eat a full pizza and drink a liter of soda at 7pm, but I will go for a 15 mile run at 10pm to burn it off." he was great.
Just watched that match again recently, Smith was funky before funky was a thing. Practiced with him my frosh year and he battled our 189lber for some good practice matches.
He apparently still eats the pizza and drinks the soda without enduring the 15 mile run
Penn State Class of 2027 commit Landon Sidun just won his PIAA Class 3A 121-pound opener over Tommy Oswald of Lower Dauphin by technical fall, 17-2, in the second period. He's into tomorrow afternoon's quarterfinal round.
Braiden Weaever just won his 133-pound Class 3A opener over Mason Whitney, Abington Heights, 1-0, on the strength of a second period ride out and third period escape.
Kwortnik was a monster. Not Pa., but Campolattano won 4 state titles in NJ...3 at 189, one at 215.
Tidy 17-1 technical fall for State College Area's James Whitbred over Jared Gonzalez of Notre-Dame Green Pond in 2:39. The Class of 2027 Penn State commit racked up three takedowns and eight nearfall point to cruise into the quarters.
Teag is still an underdog in the quarters, but Simak pinning Hostetter helps a little.
Elijah Brown won his opener by fall so fast it was right in front of me and I missed it cutting a Teag Sanderson photo. 34 seconds.
Morrison might get a forfeit. Kapusta won by DQ for an illegal slam and got stretchered off.
Hope he's ok, but that's not a good sign for his continued participation.

FWIW, they were about 15 minutes behind when I got there for the start of 3A today, which is pretty good, imo. Didn't extend in that last session, either.
Not even close to a takedown. It's even more obvious from the other side and you could clearly hear the official saying "he rolled through" and the second official saying "yes he did".
Other than trying to figure out the rhyme or reason for mat assignments, which isn't a FLO issue of course, none here.

I’m not sure how big of an upset this really is. Santamaria was a fifth place finisher last year and eighth place finisher his sophomore year, so he has some experience and success at this level.
