I consider REO and Boston the most iffy of the group as well, w/ Supertramp the #1 ranked omission.

Slamming Supertramp is sort of lame. You could just read the lyrics of songs like School or The Logical Song and be impressed. Then add in the music. I listen to more Supertramp and ELO than early 70's Stones and late 60's Beatles now a days.
None of them are HOF worthy in my opinion. All mid-level bands. This is everyone gets a trophy culture with the R&R HOF.

I like Boston. Tom Scholz was an innovator, and Boston had a unique sound and great songs. Their debut album is one of the most successful ever. Unfortunately, Boston lacks the body of work to be worthy of the HOF.
Just going to do this here, the second to worst concert Tgar has ever seen was Kansas. Pure torture. Heart was not much better, also torture. Leslie West and Mountain, torture.

That is Exhibit D. in my argument against the entire concept of the RRHOF
my boomer rage is palpable … the ONLY thing more annoying/banal than the RRHOF is the National Museum of Play Toy HOF
The Rock n Roll hall of fame needs to slow down their inductions. they will run out of HoF worthy bands. In 10 years these bands will all be the headliners for the induction. Name more than 5 slam duck bands for HoF in the last 10 years. You can get there with Rap, with Folk, with Country, but Rock as a genre is on the slide into oblivion.
Either that, or start to honor the bands and artists that actually sold a s**t-ton of records.
