Dan Bongino, Internet "personality", who got an MBA from PSU.
Lara Spencer, who secretly had a crush on me

There are a few out there.....

I thought this was widely known in these parts that he is a PSU alum. He is an alum of my high school as well. I am also a sci-fi and Star Trek nerd, so all of my worlds seem to collide with this guy. 😀
What year did you graduate from Liberty? Class of 81

Why have I been reading this board for so long and never seen this mentioned? Is it somehow possible that people here don't know that? Here's a clip of him mentioning it and his Wiki page confirms it.

Actually, this is old news for many of us.

I was an avid follower of Commander Will Riker when Star Trek Next Generation was a hot show in the late 1980s.

Personally, I thought Frakes was a way better FO for the Enterprise than Patrick Stewart was her captain.

I also read recently where Edward James Olmos "olmos" was captain of the Enterprise in ST:NG, but turned it down. I would've rather seen him as captain than Stewart. But that's just me.

I had a room in Beam, spent way way too much time on the North Hall courts.
I thought North Halls was a cool dorm. I was 2nd floor Beam when it was the Arts & Architecture interest house. One side men other side women. Food wasn't that great in the Dinning Hall but we still had Chicken Cosmos.
They turned the first 2 floors into some Administration building a few years after I graduated. I think they are back to being dorms again and I think they may have since redesigned them into suites with 2 bedrooms and a shared bath.
I wouldn't mind going back to take a look at them.

I was in 434 Beam. (I still got a textbook with my name and dorm room written in it.) Good people, they put up with me. (I was in the ******* idiot phase of my life, sadly.)

Ty Burrell too, Phil Dunphy on Modern Family.

Let’s not forget Keegan-Michael Key… he and Ty each earned their MFA in theater at Penn State.

Did any of you take Theater 100? It was an undergraduate gen-ed arts course where we’d read plays and study various genres of theater. There would always be a troupe of grad students participating as well, prepping and performing sketches and excerpts of plays for the class.

I do believe there was a point in the mid-90s when Theater 100 students would have been entertained by BOTH Burrell and Key. Which means I missed it by just a few years, dammit. That would have been cool.
