Nearly the same exact assessment I gave my adopted kid and he laughed and said, "objective as always!" I just ask him, have I missed any by much this year.
His smart assed answer was Cael's superiority makes my subjectivity appear objective.
I like the way that kid battles. He’ll be litigating in no time.

Am I a jerk if I feel that the winner of Blaze/Davino should be the new #1 at 133? I looked at the wins Byrd has this year and his resume looks a little light. I know he won 133 last year but unless I missed something, Byrd's highest ranked win this year is Ayala who sis 7-6.

Not a jerk. Its an understandable position. But as others have stated, Byrd is an undefeated returning champ that hasn't ducked anyone. Blaze will get his shot at Bigs.

Injured over and over or sick. The player at Montana.

life. Move on and start living it.
Solomon Tuliapupu was USA Today national defensive player of the year, national high school Butkus Award winner, and a borderline 5* recruit, just couldn't stay healthy. With NIL, even at Montana, he'll almost certainly earn more playing another year of NCAA football than at his first job out of college, with all his living expenses covered and without the hassles and stress of a "real job".

The NCAA is such a freaking joke now, but hard to blame the players for trying to eek out every penny they can if someone is willing to pay them.

Saw on The Mat that Bouzakis is supposedly a go tonight.
Yeah, insider says Kharchla and Cannon out, Bouzakis wrestling. Makes sense, Kharchla looked like he got hurt last match as well - knee, which can be worse in the days following than in the moment. Bouzakis was lower back-ish and sometimes those things hurt more in the moment (unless you have back issues beforehand) than they do the next day.

it's not wrestling but I just saw a football player got a 9TH yr to play, how messed up is the ncaa!
What is so bad about it?

Lots of injuries at USC . Now with small school, University of Montana, and another injury. Bachelor’s degree in business administration (2022) and a master’s in project management (2024), both from USC. Pursuing a graduate certificate in entrepreneurship at Montana.

I don't get why his having this opportunity would be bad.

At the end of things more education is always a good thing. But athletic and academic opportunities are not necessarily intertwined. The excessive number of years of court ordered eligibilities is a two edged sword, if someone gets 6 years of eligibility someone else is missing out on those opportunities. Makes as much sense as telling a high school freshman, hey in a couple more years after senior JR Doe finishes up his athletic college prep playing for the HS team we will let you play.

Giving a 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th year of college athletic eligibility seems silly. With the money involved walking away from college athletic opportunities is going to get harder and harder and court battles will become more frequent.

But the best talent will play, right?

And the birth rate is dropping, too, right?

Seems like more eligibility will help keep the NCAA $-machine printing.

My girlfriend and I scored tickets, so, I’m getting off my flight that is scheduled to land at 6:40. I’ll watch on my phone until we get in there. Any thoughts on are parking options arriving late?

@mvattivo why not skip the bar and come to the match? I have an extra ticket if you need one. Listen to JB while you drive to BJC then come inside.
reach me at PSU Paul eighty six (numbers not words) at the Google machine
My son made rob the Happiest of Valleys fo the outdoor hockey game in 4:54. That’s cutting it to close. Haha. Otherwise I’d take that ticket.
Enjoy the night!!

I know, Mino sometimes makes things up...

I hope Bouzakis is out. Reading the link above about Ohowihate having their Dauber down, one of the replies has them winning the match by Bouzakis getting a major to start the night.
😳
