Corby I never get on you and have had nothing but good productive talk on here mostly but I see how you lose credibility quickly when you say you’re not an Iowa fan. Not sure why you continue going back to that, clearly you are and that’s OK.I don't do that often. The issue is people get mad because they think I act like a know not all when I'm just providing the information I have. Won't matter because people say I'm an "Iowa fan" . I'm gonna try a little experiment and make another handle and post the same stuff and no one will say a word

Said Blaze would win it this year before the season started. Said the same about Duke. Van Ness , Mitchell, Haines and Barr are my picks as well. Sounds like a huge Iowa fan to me. I think the match will be so lopsided Tom's need to postulate multiple rationalizations will be beat out him.

Sorta unrelated, but it is sort of incredible to me that ahead of a No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup you don't hear from one of the head coaches before the match. Checked in with some people in Columbus though and indeed, no Ryan news conference this week.
I thought national duals were like the play in round to get a shot at the actual champion
Actually, in fairness, I think the tan one actually is more loose lipped before matches than after.

True. Except when it’s PSU week. He pisses himself with nerves while Cael is playing dodgeball and pinning everyone up and down our lineup in practice this week with a smile

I have friends in Iowa and did shows in Iowa in the past but I'm not an Iowa fan. I like some of the wrestlers. Many people who have known me a long time know I'm not an Iowa fan. You guys can think whatever you want but it's just not the truth. When I lived in NJ and would go to practices at Rutgers I became a Rutgers fan for a few years and that's the only college team I was ever a "fan of". I lose credibility with the people who believe what they want but not the ones who I actually care about.

If a coach wants to learn how to get his team uptight, he should watch Ryan's actions before and during the 2018 match.
Franklin was pretty good at it too.
Whatever the developer of the algorithm believes is important.
Maybe Tan Tom is planning on wrestling Cannon and he wants to keep it a secret and not have to lie at a press conference, being the righteous person he is? I’m guessing PJ wants Cannon to wrestle.

Guys, I know this has been spoken about before. What bars in the State College area will be 100% definitely showing the match. I live in Lewistown. My flight gets into the State College airport at 6:40pm. I'm looking for the closest bar to the airport that will definitely be showing the match. I realize that I will likely miss the beginning. Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide me some options.

Go to Local Whiskey good spot and they will definitely have it on. It's a 15 min drive . Put on Fox sports app and watch on your phone until you get there. The Penn Stater Hotel has a sports bar that would be the closest but I don't remember the name of the bar
Was up for the hockey game 2 weeks ago. 2 of the guys I was staying with went to local whiskey the night of the match because they don't follow wrestling and wanted wings. was getting messages about the match cause it was on there with no vloume.
But we gotta grow the sport and Penn State really should have gone to the duals.
I have been there it's a good spot. And I know they definitely will have it on. I don't remember if the sound was on or not when I was there.
It's been a long time since I was in there, but never remember the sound being on in there for anything, fwiw.
What data in the match results in 25-26 show Lucas Byrd to be #1 that is not also shown by Ben Davino, Marcus Blaze, and Aaron Seidel?
After 50+ years of watching/following home matches, 2018 PSU vs tOSU is my favorite. It had everything. Home mat advantage is definitely a thing, and for Penn State it's my opinion that being in Rec Hall has benefits over the BJC. Still, being at the BJC gives tons more fans a chance to see the Lions live. Should be rockin' tomorrow. Be loud and be proud Penn State!

rereading the messages I got, I assumed off, but seems like it was just too loud to really hear.
Rec Hall is the coolest place to have a big wrestling match (as long as i have my tickets). BJC must have made an impression on Hardy though. Despite being 3,000 below capacity he mentioned the loudness/craziness of the BJC crowd.

would this dual get the attention it is going to get if PSU did go to natl duals? Would folks (non-PSU fans) watch the rematch after the initial drubbing?
