Just as an FYI, we'll hear from Cael on Wednesday. I do not believe Tom Ryand does a media briefing during the week.

Big Ten Network needs to replay it right before the match. And if you have not seen the angle with Mark and Bo going nuts behind the floor seats as Nick is holding off Kyle, find the video!

I chuckled when they did this reenactment… in the OSU arena…
…. when the camera panned around the stands, thei fans didn’t seem to react to it…
I wonder how many were not paying attention, how many didn’t get the reference, and how many just took it, knowing they usually beat us in football, that one loss was fair and square… and they had no shot at us on the mat!
Not worth it, in my opinion, and it's definitely not very upscale. I was just there for a basketball game over Thanksgiving. I was hosted for free by the NLC, so I didnt pay. They have a cash bar, free popcorn, chocolate chip cookies, chips, pretzels, soft drinks, and coffee. I would go back for free, but definitely wouldn't pay for access.
Everyone definitely Must be louder starting before the 125 pound match. As Cael would say “be loud and Stay on the Ref“ Friday evening. Better be early since we are expecting a Record Breaking Crowd. My first thought on seeing those robes was that they looked liked the women in "The Handmaid's Tale."
For those that don't recognize it, that was the boys trolling tOSU in the match the season the football team blocked a field goal and returned it for a TD.
Anyone else notice how terrible the BTN network production of the wrestling segment is? Wrong information wired clips seemingly at random thrown in. Can’t get the schools that wrestled or rankings right. Geez guys, high school morning announcements have a better production team!
I saw them this summer as they were on my season pass at Limekiln. Truth be told, I'm a little bit of a newbie to Americana music, and I went into the show a little skeptical, as they are pretty much stoner hippies and I was a little dubious of what mixing Appalachian features with world music would sound like.
They opened with Across the Blue Ridge Mountains and I was blown away. Some of their stuff indeed didn't work, in a tedious stoner-hippie kind of way, but other pieces were fantastic and innovative, like the one below. On balance, color me a fan.

This one at least offers food... taking my daughter and middle son who each went to Penn State (following my wife's and my example) along with my daughter in-law and my 2 year old granddaughter who loves wrestling. The last time we went was vs Maryland last year and my granddaughter did her part by trying to strike up conversations and repeatably saying high and waving to the Maryland wrestlers as they were warming up before being announced... I swear she got to some of them as I saw them look over and smile. My daughter is bringing her boyfriend and probable future son in law... he went to Ohio State. Anyways this one is a little different as they are offering food:

I am really hoping Bouzakis wrestles so I don't have to read for 3 more weeks about how if Luke can somehow miraculously avoid getting pinned he could maybe win this match.

How do you "shatter" the attendance record? They have had multiple sellouts there over the years and the attendance has been consistent. It is not like they can add a few thousand seats.
Exactly, attendance will be right around 15,900-16,000. Record is 15,998, 100% capacity. Record may be matched, it has no chance of being shattered.
My long held but completely spitballed theory is that the fire code says capacity is below 16k and going over that mark comes with a fine. Hence why we’ve had several 15,998 ties, lol.

Based on Intermat rankings (and assuming everyone wrestles, which we know is unlikely at 157):
- 16 of the 20 wrestlers are predicted to AA
- 3 are expected to come up one win short of AA, losing in the blood round
- The other is expected to win two matches at nationals, but come up two dubs short of AA
they should, like, build an extra bathroom or something.
