OK St was on offense early and often? They scored 15 first period points. 13 by Forrest, 1 penalty point for Merrilll and an escape for Doucet. 125 0 TDs 133 2 TDs 141 1 TD 149 1 TD 157 1 TD 165 4 TDs 174 1 TD 184 O TD 197 O TD 285 O TD So they 10 TDs for the meet.
My understanding is that Cannon was in a wheelchair up until last week. Almost certain he's a no until March.
Nothing against Cannon, injuries are what they are, but this would mean that PJ gets no shot at a #1 seed and probably Cannon gets the #1 seed at B1G's? Even if he beats Cannon in the dual that doesn't guarantee him the #1 seed.
I have a feeling PJ will get er done no matter his seed.

Given Mendez' motor and Braeden's suspect conditioning at this point, Mendez getting the TF or pinning an exhausted Braeden wouldn't surprise me. If Braeden could keep it to a major I would consider that a victory.

If he's in a wheelchair I doubt he'd be ready for the dual on the 13th, but who knows. That would suck. Be more fun if he's healthy by then. I'd like to see Cannon Duke before Bigs and NCAAs.
Davis's conditioning will be different/improved on the 13th. He is busting his butt working to get it where it needs to be. It isn't going to be where it needs to be though.
I can't wait for KYPSW for this dual. We will probably will see 15 points differential between 1st and last. Unless everyone comes PSUbluTx's picks.

Iowa is going to get torched by Ok St later this month. I expect DT to have his guys peaking for March, too, and finish in second just above tOSU at nationals. I see 7 AAs: Spratley, Jax, Vega, Robideau, Lockett, Facundo, and Merrill, with Jax, Vega, and Lockett in the mix to make it to Saturday night.
I think this board is underrating Bouzakis like they underrated Antrell. Him and Luke have had very similar seasons where they are both undefeated with their only loss coming to a teammate. They both have a 66% Bonus Rate.
However, Luke has beat 0 AAs this season and his best wins are decisions over Provo and Peterson. Bouzakis has wins over 2 AAs (Volk and Poulin) and has a pin over Peterson and a TF over Renteria.
Obviously we all know how good Luke is regardless of results, but Bouzakis can be a threat and he is not just a pinned or be pinned/teched threat.
He has been majored 4 times in his career, he has never been teched or pinned. All three majors at 133 were to AAs and the other was up at 141 his true freshman year. Last year he went to SV with Byrd in a 8-5 match and all of his regular season losses were within a takedown. The idea that Luke is going to just take him down at will and will bonus if he stays out of reversals seems overly simplistic to me.

My opinion Bousakis wins 125 if he can beat the scale for 3 days. He looks like the best 125 in the country to me
He should almost at peak aerobic conditioning @6 weeks if not by bigs for sure nationals

I agree it's important that he wins the big 10s and is the #1 seed. So his 1/4 morning of day 2 would be the 8/9 guys like Volk , Poulin or Provo

I can also confirm there is almost no chance Cannon wrestles until the Big Tens. Heard today from someone who would know.
So if there was ANY chance of Ohio State coming close in the dual, that puts that hypothesis to rest.
And Myles was was a 5-0 lead over Bo away from getting elevator’d to his back.

Doesn’t sound like a major deal with the knee, but this kid already had a cancer scare. Time for life to ease up on him a bit.
