These men's semi-finals are why I root for the top seeds. I'll have to watch Zverev/Alcaraz later but Sinner/Novak is phenomenal tennis.

Barf. But why this is such a great sport.

Edit: Thought this was in English! Anyway, basically says Sinner won every major statistical category but still lost.

Wow, turn my back on the women's final for a few minutes and everything is flipped aroun! Sabelenka up 3-0 in 3rd set and then Rybankina goes 5 games in a row.

Rybakina wins AO 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 over Sabalenka. Rybakina is chillest cat out there. Like a female Bjorn Borg.

Rybakina is great...that match was great. Both finished with the same number of points won I believe.
Sabalenka's career is going to be defined but what could have been. 3 lost slam finals in the past 5. Unlike the 2 last year, she didn't give this one away. Rybakina stole it.

Saw a crazy stat on Sabalenka - I’ll try to find it if I can. Gist is she has gone something like 110 straight Gtand Slam matches with winning at least one set. That is better than any other player. The next closest woman has a streak of 12.

Still trying to decide whether to get up to watch the men's final live later this morning. I love watching tennis and with so much history on the line I'm thinking getting up will be worth it.

Rybakina is, or should be, a favorite of all the introverts. I couldn't believe she gave back from 0-3 in the third set like that. I also like the tennis dress she wears. Simple but it also nicely highlights her curves. I'm a fan.

That's an unbelievable stat by Sabelenka! Just makes me wonder more what the hell happened today after leading 3-0 in the 3rd. Wish I didn't assume Sabalenka was just going to runaway with it LOL. I'd like to know what that stat is for Venus, Steff, or Navaratilova.

You would have to do some investigating to find the records for others, but Graf at one point had a 40 match win streak in Grand Slams. That includes 28 during her Golden Slam year.

Yeah Graf was on a different level during that era. The most I can find for her was 69 straight with winning at least 1 set which was during that run. Just a quick glance but when she lost it seems like it was typically in straight sets.

My daughter is getting into tennis so we’ve been following the junior AO draw; has been pretty fun to watch. Not sure how many pros these days come up the junior ranks, but this one seems promising…

Novak got to and made an around the net post shot and Alcaraz was still able to get to it and win the point! WTF do you have to do to beat this kid!
Skinner is really the only person I think can beat him. 7 majors before his 23rd birthday. Gotta think he wins at least 1 more this year.

At some point he will get an injury. It's inevitable. He's like an NFL running back, limited mobility years.

Nadal still had a prime that last arguably 17 years.
I'd also like Carlos has a better training regimen simply based on the advances for the past 20-25 years
Carlos is also a better all court player IMO.

Here's a Czech sisters juniors doubles team to watch out for in years to come. Won the AO girls juniors and last year US Open juniors. Maybe a Bryan brothers equivalent on the women's side.
