Need quick assistance on places to eat in State College

My son and a couple of friends are in town for the hockey game.
Staying at Springhill Suites on Waddle (I think that’s the road).
In their mid 20’s and looking for a place to eat and partake of a beverage or 3.
Thoughts I can pass along would be appreciated.

Had lunch at Champs North Atherton today. Never disappoints IMO. But, pay with a debit card to avoid a credit card fee.

I like Ottos. Good beer. And, of course, Waffle Shop on North Atherton for breakfast.

And The Phyrst later on where the boys can be told to Go F Yourself! This way they get the full SC experience!!
