This morning's events in the North Atlantic remind me a bit of a certain movie with a plot involving US forces racing the Russians to a vessel of special interest in the North Atlantic, and then boarding it. Watched it once again last week when I saw it pop up on my TV—just had to watch it all the way through.

Forgot one. Always find myself watching it when I come across it channel surfing.

Dazed and Confused

-it has a great soundtrack.
That soundtrack is good. The other movie Soundtracks I like are Grosse Point Blank
and Repo Man.
Casablanca is my movie that I never miss if I run across it...that and Blazing Saddles. :ROFLMAO:

I hope you really don’t listen to these lunatic critics when you are thinking about going to a movie or watching a show. They are never right and always full of themselves.
Maybe I'd read a review by Roger Ebert, but he died about 13 yrs ago. 😉
the meme is satire.

Two of my favorites are both Paul Newman films.
Cool hand Luke and Nobodys Fool.
Today was Paul Newman’s 101st birthday and Turner Classic Movies had him on all this morning and afternoon. I’m snowed in so I watched The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean, seen it before, like it okay. It’s crazy how unknown Nobody’s Fool is, it’s a perfect movie.

First time I saw Cool Hand Luke was in Findlay commons in 1973.

Newman is so good. I think my favorite though is The Sting. I saw it the other month and it still holds up really well. The acting all the way around from Newman to Redford was fantastic.

Haven't seen it in quite a while since ive seen it but "Inherit the Wind" with Spencer Tracy. I pretty much like anything he was in.

There are so many listed here already that I would include, but I’ll try to go for others:
The Bridge on the River Kwai
Searching for Bobby Fischer
Galaxy Quest
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
The Big Short
Crazy Stupid Love

There are probably others that I’m forgetting.

Probably the movie I find myself re-watching again and again is Inglorious Basterds; probably because the format is so easily digestable - essentially five chapters that are mostly dialogue. This is my favorite...
