If I didn't dislike Manning enough already, his team's performance/effort v. Iowa was abysmal and utterly embarrassing. That's all.
Not sure it was more Iowa looked really good or Nebraska was really bad.If I didn't dislike Manning enough already, his team's performance/effort v. Iowa was abysmal and utterly embarrassing. That's all.
It certainly makes last year's Nebby team look like a perfect storm lightning in a bottle. They returned almost everyone picked up AJ, and are far worse. That last part is maybe self explanatory. Not sure it was more Iowa looked really good or Nebraska was really bad.
Let's put it this way - through 184, the two matches they won were Hardy by 1-0 and Taylor by 2-1sv. I'm pretty sure they had about 2 takedowns total in those 8 matches. Not sure it was more Iowa looked really good or Nebraska was really bad.

I hate to say it but AJ showed at least a little aggression, and good sportsmanship at the end. Amazing what a felony scare can do for you??? ;-)

This is true. Credit to them for peaking at nationals year. It was an exciting run for them, and it’s always great to peak at the right time (ask Nick Foles…), but they clearly overperformed as a whole team in a way that’s not looking repeatable. For someone like Taylor, he won last year and certainly deserved to win and nothing will ever diminish that, but looking forward to this year, he’s one of the weakest “defending champs” out there and thinking about him as a defending champ when assessing how tough a draw will be this year vs someone like Mendez is like night and day.It certainly makes last year's Nebby team look like a perfect storm lightning in a bottle. BTN+ is free this weekend. Has replays of all B1G duals.I wasnt able to watch the Ferrari march. Any video offered?

NoGo figure, there is a reasonable chance 1-9 Iowa vs PSU, just beat Nebraska worse that we will. On paper it is 7-3, but I am really hoping for another bonus parade. This will also be PJ Duke's coming out party for those few remaining doubters out there. 8-2 is most likely.
I am starting to hear little whispers in the back of my head about Davis having a signature match Friday. Should I listen to them?
This coming Friday? That's Michigan and, I presume, Ragusin?Go figure, there is a reasonable chance 1-9 Iowa vs PSU, just beat Nebraska worse that we will. PSU vs Michigan is Friday February sixth. Nebraska match is next on January thirtieth. This coming Friday? That's Michigan and, I presume, Ragusin?
Could happen. Ragusin is coming back from injury that ended his 2024-25 season and looks to have entered the UM lineup in early January. He has wins, all by decision, against MSU (Crumpler, won 9-3), Rutgers (Gibson, won 6-4), and Illinois (Bower, won 3-0). Based on those results, Ragusin may not yet be back to peak form; could be close to a toss-up match against Davis?
Crap, my bad; misread the schedule.PSU vs Michigan is Friday February sixth. Nebraska match is next on January thirtieth.
No sweat. I never root for Iowa but made an exception with Nasir to help convince myself that Braeden can hang with the best of them at 141. LolCrap, my bad; misread the schedule.
If it's Nebraska, I can't see Davis beating Hardy, even though Hardy hasn't looked quite himself of late.
leave windows open and turn air-conditioning on max. that will heat us all up.I really need help! I'm in Costa Rica now and it's getting so warm that I don't know if I should keep all the windows open or close them and turn on the air conditioning. Please advise.
