I was not aware that IU's OL coach was Bob Bostad, who built multiple great offensive lines at Wisconsin. He's one of the best OL coaches out there.Elite QB and receiver play. Very good OL and solid RB’s.
IU Defense excelled despite not having a potent edge rusher. Miami has an elite EDGE and he was a huge problem all game.
IIRC he was on Allen’s staff and CC kept him.I was not aware that IU's OL coach was Bob Bostad, who built multiple great offensive lines at Wisconsin. He's one of the best OL coaches out there.
People around here will call you DEMENTED and a SICKO if you say stuff like that.Any rebuild is possible with the right people.
Smart move on his part.IIRC he was on Allen’s staff and CC kept him.
Or they'll say RU needs a fieldhouse and more expensive parking. Not better coaches.People around here will call you DEMENTED and a SICKO if you say stuff like that.
It's because you need $. You could have Nick Saban coach Rutgers for the next decade and you would make 4 or 5 very low level bowls. That is because Nick Saban without $ is not going to win anything.People around here will call you DEMENTED and a SICKO if you say stuff like that.
People here are now saying that “Indiana 3 Stars are really 4 stars because they came in as college transfers.” Those college transfers still beat all those legit MaxPrep/ Rivals 4/5 Stars and Million Dollar 5 Star Transfers at Alabama, Oregon, and Miami. People will have to eventually have to say that Indiana coaches are flat out better at their job than those three Big Time Programs with the DEEEEEPPPP pockets in 2026.It's because you need $. You could have Nick Saban coach Rutgers for the next decade and you would make 4 or 5 very low level bowls. That is because Nick Saban without $ is not going to win anything.
But they did win. They went from completely irrelevant to the national championship game.People here are now saying that “Indiana 3 Stars are really 4 stars because they came in as college transfers.” Those college transfers still beat all those legit MaxPrep/ Rivals 4/5 Stars and Million Dollar 5 Star Transfers at Alabama, Oregon, and Miami. BTW, it doesn’t mean that you will win if you spend $4 on one player.
CARSON BECK IS EXHIBIT A.
His point it wasn’t ONLY about spending money! **** we had two too 5 NBA lottery picks and we couldn’t even make the NIT.But they did win. They went from completely irrelevant to the national championship game.
OKaayyy… Is there a script that they were supposed to follow and lose? Everyone else spent money on their transfers and they were garbage. But they did win. They went from completely irrelevant to the national championship game.
Proves that you don’t need a 3 year plan, a 5 year plan, or what everyone here is arguing over: The Schiano 20 Year Plan. His point it wasn’t ONLY about spending money! **** we had two too 5 NBA lottery picks and we couldn’t even make the NIT.
More to it than just talent and $$
Correct!Proves that you don’t need a 3 year plan, a 5 year plan, or what everyone here is arguing over: The Schiano 20 Year Plan.
Like that worked for Oregon, Miami, Alabama, and all the programs with the Sugar DaddiesLook at our transfer list and look at IUs. Get real people. We need to find a Mark Cuban to make real changes.
Huh??? The dude took him to the national championship game.OKaayyy… Is there a script that they were supposed to follow and lose? Everyone else spent money on their transfers and they were garbage.
It’s not their fault that best thing Carson Beck did at Miami was hook up with a porn star.
You don't need a plan; you need money. We don't have any money.Proves that you don’t need a 3 year plan, a 5 year plan, or what everyone here is arguing over: The Schiano 20 Year Plan.
It didn’t work? Those teams all made the CFP.Like that worked for Oregon, Miami, Alabama, and all the programs with the Sugar Daddies

Nick Saban is gonna win wherever he goes in college football. Because if you get a real coach $$$$ will followIt's because you need $. You could have Nick Saban coach Rutgers for the next decade and you would make 4 or 5 very low level bowls. That is because Nick Saban without $ is not going to win anything.
You need a coach first, the top 4 NIL schools was Texas, O State, Georgia and LSU. I didn't see these teams in the final fourYou don't need a plan; you need money. We don't have any money.
No he didn’t. Run game with Fletcher, 17 YO Freshman WR, and their defense took them to the NC Game.Huh??? The dude took him to the national championship game.
I’LL bet Nick Saban would get those Jersey Billionaires and Business to donate money for that Fieldhouse at the least. It's because you need $. You could have Nick Saban coach Rutgers for the next decade and you would make 4 or 5 very low level bowls. That is because Nick Saban without $ is not going to win anything.
You need a coach first, the top 4 NIL schools was Texas, O State, Georgia and LSU. I didn't see these teams in the final four
It's something of a chicken-and-egg problem; Nick Saban isn't going to come to a school unless there's money there in the first place. But that money isn't going to be there unless the team shows potential even before Nick Saban gets there. What a school needs to do is to do what Indiana did -- bet on a coach who's something of an unknown (who was to know whether he could carry his success at JMU over to a larger school) and who turns out to be excellent.Nick Saban is gonna win wherever he goes in college football. Because if you get a real coach $$$$ will follow
Saban isn’t going anywhere that doesn’t have all the money in-place already. That goes for all the top coaches. No one good is coming to help you fundraise.Nick Saban is gonna win wherever he goes in college football. Because if you get a real coach $$$$ will follow
You could stop at Saban isn't going anywhere. He's done coaching. He has said so numerous times.Saban isn’t going anywhere that doesn’t have all the money in-place already. That goes for all the top coaches. No one good is coming to help you fundraise.
A team of poorly coached talented freshmen will always get beat by a team of well coached grown men.Correct!
it’s all about talent evaluation..Cigs preferred production over potential.
also noteworthy is that even Cuban said the $$ wasn’t going to be spent on bidding wars for a top player.
And last but not least those “productive” players all had college experience where the average age was 23 across the team. Experience matters!
going back to the bball team it’s why a team of takentwd reshman can get beat by grown men
Saban is in a partnership with Joe Agresti, a New Jersey born executive who is the CEO of a chain of luxury car dealers. I believe he donated to the Alabama football program when Saban was the coach there.I’LL bet Nick Saban would get those Jersey Billionaires and Business to donate money for that Fieldhouse at the least.
He might get some Rutgers Football Alum to stop by to visit or even put some money down towards the football program like Miami FB alums do.
RU got transfers from the same talent pool as Indiana. Their transfers excelled, particularly on defense. RU's did not, in large part because of poor coaching.Look at our transfer list and look at IUs. Get real people. We need to find a Mark Cuban to make real changes.
All those teams spent more than Indiana did. 2 of them got squashed like bugs when they played Indiana. It didn’t work? Those teams all made the CFP.
If Saban coached RU for the next decade, it's almost a guarantee that he would have a better record than Schiano has put together. It's because you need $. You could have Nick Saban coach Rutgers for the next decade and you would make 4 or 5 very low level bowls. That is because Nick Saban without $ is not going to win anything.
