As I was walkin' 'round Grosvenor square. Not a chill to the winter but a nip to the air...

I’m going to Snowboard here in Kamchatka. It’ll be from the roof of my apartment.

Apricity (pronounced ap-ri-si-tee) is a rare, archaic English noun meaning
the warmth of the sun in winter, a delightful feeling of sunshine on a cold day, derived from the Latin apricitas. It's a beautiful but largely obsolete word, first appearing in the 1600s, describing that specific cozy sensation when winter's chill is softened by the sun's rays

I love that. Thanks for the word.

Once in a while you get shown the LIGHT, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Can't stop listening to the Dead this week.

As a lifelong musician who loves a good lyric...from that same song:

From the other direction, she was calling my eye.

I mean, what a great, great twist there. Where calling usually hints at something verbal, and you're expecting "name", what a subtle, well crafted way of saying a woman is attractive and garnering attention.
