I posted FACTS for you on the 2023-24 NC State Wolfpack who made it to the Final Four after compiling a 9-10 ACC Record and 26-14 overall record in the same season. This is a FACT. So there is precedent that a team can improve their play IN SEASON and make a deep run. Evidently you're not smart enough to understand that. That's on you.
Once again providing a couple of examples over decades of college basketball doesn't mean we can't discuss the disappointments of this season so far.

Who said I’m not discussing the disappointments of this season so far? I’ve acknowledged that we are not where we need to be. But that’s where you’re stuck spinning your wheels. According to you, you highly doubt we can improve upon that. I’ve shown you examples of how it can be achieved yet you’re still spinning your wheels.

i have faith in the players. i think there is a pretty good amount of talent on this team. they have proven it in several games this year against good competition scoring 40+ in a half.
i sadly do not have much faith in the coach staff who continues to highlight their shortcomings. i dont see the staff improving in game prep, scouting and player rotation (especially in the 1st half). a trend that started last year.

That team had much better wins up to this point and lost 9 games total. Not the same thing at all.
There is this thing called probability.This team listed below absolutely sucked during the season and almost lost in the first round of the ACC Tourney. With a bunch of no names, went to the Final Four. You don’t know what the future holds.

People would take you more seriously when accusing people of being overly negative if you didn’t take the extreme opposite stance. This team is going to lose 10+ games, and they aren’t making the final four.

I’m not planning my life on Kentucky making a final four but there’s a possibility of it happening. Anything can happen in March.
No, you are the weirdo. This team has also shown is who the are are the opposite end of the spectrum as well. Scoring 49 points in the 2nd half against the #11 team defense in the country and winning is confidence builder that the team can build on moving ahead but losers like you still harp on us losing by 35 to Gonzaga.

Idk which side I’m on because this team doesn’t know what they want to do. Are we gonna be the team that gets down 17 in a half or are we gonna get the team that scored 49 in a half?
It’s game to game. We have no clue. Hoping for a turnaround. Halfway expecting one. Halfway feel like it could get ugly. Again nobody has a clue but surely we all want the best.
I don’t want to tank unless we kept getting Gonzaga performances. If it was that bad yes I was gonna want to keep losing that bad and get Pope gone mid season. They have seemed to turn a corner possibly? Hopefully.
You can be positive all you want, and I hope you are right but even in these wins the first half hasn’t been good and we’ve needed a miracle and another crazy come back to win 2 in a row. That just isn’t sustainable.

I've been a member of this board for 21 years in various incarnations. I was here when Evilblueballs and crownmewilma were regular posters. I do realize posters have differing opinions. What I don't understand is how people are blind to see that there's no ability to improve the situation and you stated you 'highly" doubt we can improve., Just tryin' to educate you on the power of positive thinking.
