I rewatched the end of the game and was intrigued by the fact Garrison fouled their worst FT shooter with about 8 seconds to go and a 3 point lead. Despite him being 1 of 5 from the line in the game and 66% on the season, he hit both FT's! Everything else Pope designed in the final minutes worked out pretty darn well for us but that one didn't quite go the way everyone expected it would. Having said all that, yeah, Pope did a heck of a job!
I hated that foul. I wanted burned clock and no three pointer, and we could have burned a few seconds where he caught the ball. Did he mean to foul him right away?
