Carter was so smooth, so effortless, with surgical cuts at full speed. Warner was the better cutback runner but Carter was the better home run hitter. #32 forever.I will always remember his ability to go from 1st to 5th gear in an instant....and never being caught from behind...
I was always torn between him and Blair Thomas as the best I ever saw. I mean, Barkley was best of last 25 years, but still think both Blair and Ki-Jana were more dominant
Put Saquon behind the 1994 OL! He would literally be unstoppable. He dealt with defenders at the mesh point so often in his years with post sanctions OLs.I was always torn between him and Blair Thomas as the best I ever saw. That's actually a really good point. I think all 5 of those 94 guys played in the NFLPut Saquon behind the 1994 OL! He would literally be unstoppable. He dealt with defenders at the mesh point so often in his years with post sanctions OLs.
I walked into endzone seating of 95 Rose Bowl just as the first play from scrimmage was run, just above field level and looked up to see 32 running right at me.Carter was so smooth, so effortless, with surgical cuts at full speed. Same here, although I was in my seat from the coin flip. What a sight.I walked into endzone seating of 95 Rose Bowl just as the first play from scrimmage was run, just above field level and looked up to see 32 running right at me.
I went to an Islanders game in the early 90s. After the game I went over to the Marriot for dinner. Standing at the bar was Blair Thomas in a full length fur coat. Pretty funny.I have had the opportunity to meet both Ki-Jana and Blair over the years. Both great guys who were very gracious.
Hope to meet Saquon sometime as well.

This is so hard to do but Curt Warner has to be on these lists. I might even move him above Blair, as much as I liked Blair. Warner was also blessed with 2 really good OLines in '81 and '82.Thatās why Iāve always listed Carter, Thomas, and Barkely in my coveted and biased 3 player pantheon of the greatest Penn State RBs I have seen play.
It's what petty Syracuse grads do for self-gratification.Naturally, espn leaves Ki-Jana to the āother playersā at the end of the article. For f*ckās sake.

Yes and I would add Enis as well. A huge power back with speed. This is so hard to do but Curt Warner has to be on these lists. I might even move him above Blair, as much as I liked Blair. Warner was also blessed with 2 really good OLines in '81 and '82.
Enis was sooo good, so much power and speed.Yes and I would add Enis as well. A huge power back with speed.
A Huge Enis?!Yes and I would add Enis as well. A huge power back with speed.
It s unfortunate how his career at Penn St ended with the suit gate. I ll never forget sitting in old Giant Stadium in 1996 at the Kickoff Classic and watching him running over, through and away from USC defenders.Enis was sooo good, so much power and speed.
+1000. How simply stupid does that sound now.It s unfortunate how his career at Penn St ended with the suit gate. I ll never forget sitting in old Giant Stadium in 1996 at the Kickoff Classic and watching him running over, through and away from USC defenders.
