Bang the Drum Slowly - Well acted throughout
Bull Durham - Perfect
Field of Dreams - “Is this heaven?”
Brian’s Song - I remember watching this as a kid and knowing it was something special.
Trouble Along the Way - John Wayne, college football, Donna Reed (my heart). This movie ends up being truer than the history books as to the way college football has operated.
Chariots of Fire- I remember sitting in the theater and thinking how the acting, the look of the film, the music, never missed a thing in taking me back to that era.

That isn’t bad. I would replace Hoosiers with tin cup or even caddyshack for some humor in sport, of course slap shot is damn funny.

Fear Strikes Out. Karl Malden as the pushy dad was pretty good.
one I forgot, and one of my favorites, is 'Without Limits' about Steve Prefontaine, I am not a runner ( I wear head phones) , but a great story and I have much respect.
