Wow, harsh considering that most people think being a very good to great head coach is organizational skill, hiring and managing a great staff, being great at handling players, not the X's and O's which is important. Also being a great recruiter and managing players and boosting players abilities.
Lester seems to really be a player's coach from what I have read.
The board and boosters also do not know jack **** about zone blocking schemes
KF should had called it quits 10 years ago. Now it's just a joke, never going to get better, probably worse like the Fry latter years.
Easy schedule, Big 10 west, the conference's little favorite, and a tolerant fan base, has allowed him to hang around.
But with Cig doing more in two years than KF has in 27, this may have ended the gravy train.
Like it matters ... the portal means $$$$ and Iowa has none.

Indiana ! won a Rose Bowl KF and Fry couldn't do that in 6 decades of coaching at Iowa
