C'mon LouV - where's the announcement of Jared Jones' commitment

The use of ‘Jah’ has always thrown me off considering what that means.

    Same old, same old....

So it sounds like the problem lies with the people identifying the talent and constructing the roster? Who could that be?

    Same old, same old....

Are you referring to Kromer? He left after 2000 and was only at NU for 2 seasons.

Who cares about the Akron Loss? Strap it on against Michigan and we will be fine!

You forgot MSU, which I think is more winnable than either Michigan or Wisconsin. The problem now is that your margin for error is that much lower. Last year NU was 3-0 in overtime; expecting that to repeat is setting yourself up to be disappointed

Is this the worst half you've ever seen out of NU?

I think it tells you if Akron is this years Centeal Florida or NIU etc. or if it was what it looks like, a terrible loss.

Is this the worst half you've ever seen out of NU?

Akron plays Iowa State next week who Iowa beat by 10, so that should tell you something.

For those that see CT as a first rounder

His offensive line, receivers and coordinators don’t do him many favors, although he has had 4 straight years with stud running backs. I don’t blame either interception on him - the second one the receiver should have caught, period; the first one was a dumb coaching decision, it’s 4th down so...

Is this the worst half you've ever seen out of NU?

USF is way better than Akron

Is this the worst half you've ever seen out of NU?

I can only imagine what you would be posting if Illinois lost to Duke and a MAC team and home two weeks in a row. For whatever reason you have higher standards for Illinois than you do for NU

    We are blinded by Purple...

Does it matter that Purdue’s no good either and on their 3rd coach since Fitzgerald took over?

    Same old, same old....

Or is it the guy who was apologizing to Wisconsin fans when we beat them - or are they all the same?

    Good news

Wow, setting the bar so high, is that really fair in this staffs 13th season?

Did anyone hear Fitz' post game comments?

    Regardless of this outcome,

No backup on the roster who can hit a 30 yarder? That seems like terrible roster construction if that is true.
  15. W

    Also of note

The NCAA only lets you have one kicker, oh wait, no they don’t, they assume if your kicker is actually hurt you have a backup who can actually make 30 yard field goals on your roster.
