    OT: Mobile, AL

Felix's is hit or miss. Ed's Shed on the Causeway, now owned by among others, Panini Pete of Fairhope, is pretty good. For finer dining seafood and steaks try the Wash House in Point Clear or Jesse's in Magnolia Springs - both excellent. Southwood Kitchen in Daphne (run by Jesse's former chef)...

OT: anyone on here live on the Eastern Shore, AL?

Yes and the Brewery is pretty cool. There's several good bars and restaurants around Fairhope. Lots of Dawgs down here.

Bo Bounds connecting dots and calling out C-L writer

The younger guy is not Bryan K or either of his two brothers. Having practiced law with them for many years, it's definitely WG's son, Trey.

Things to do in mobile before the game

For what it's worth, per the Mobile Alumni Assoc, O'Daly's on Dauphin St. is the "official" MSU bar for this weekend apparently. I've been told to avoid the Bel Air Mall shuttle and to park in yards around the stadium or at Williamson High School which is nearby.

My problem with stadium reseating and TTF

This year supposed to be in Sec 119. Eight years of paying CL prices to sit behind the jumbotron was enough.

My problem with stadium reseating and TTF

Rocket - We were in Sec 125 where there were a number of unsold seats last year apparently. They moved us slightly so that we then had the 4 together.

My problem with stadium reseating and TTF

That's a very good question. In order to get a 4th club level seat last year (during the season) with our pre-existing 3, I had to pledge 12k over 5 years to the TTF fund. That seemed kind of crazy for one more seat.

An example of collateral damage with the reseating...

I picked around 4:30 today. Rank is just over 1,000 and got our 4 seats in sec. 119 mid row. Not a $25,000 pledgor to the cause but did have to pledge about half of that last year to pick up a 4th CL ticket. They were working on 119 and 124 at the time. We've been in sec. 125 since 2005 so it...

a lawyer for every 450 people in MS

have "jobs" within 9 months of graduating. What they dont say is that those jobs include sacking groceries, waiting tables and if they are lucky maybe they are actually hired to work as a paralegal or law clerk. The law schools dont downsize their classes based on the availability of jobs - why...

Watching Animal House on Cinemax right now. It still makes

at Bel Air Mall in Mobile when it came out. It was ok back in the 70's for coaches to take kids to movies with nudity, language etc. in the interest of team building.

    Grove Bowl Attendance

UM got their big lawyer dollars from plaintiff and defense atty alums that did very well from "mass" tort cases such as tobacco, drugs, asbestos, consumer finance etc. Tort reform in MS essentially killed "mass" tort litigation and has had a huge impact on the earnings of plaintiff and defense...
