LSU Defensive End Gaye: "it was easy to shut down"

I love how people say "Our ceiling with Leach is X". That is the most mindless comment you can make. Our ceiling with this team may be 8 but this is not one of the more talented defensive teams we have had. We have a lot of solid players but the thing this team lacks is elite talent. We don't...

What's going on in the Starkville area tonight?

The students are out of town so that didn't help but the reality of the situation lies in the theme of this thread. Even the most loyal MSU basketball fans have reached the point of apathy. Howland is old and doesn't create any energy within the program and his players reflect his personality...

Noodle Arm’s* comments on the fans

I love that Will dished it back out. It's funny to watch the guys who criticize the kid from behind a computer try to tell him what he is and is not allowed to say in a press conference.

    Just renewed my football tickets

I'm in! There are pro's and con's to everything but there is no feeling like being on campus and in the stadium on game day. I love everything about it.

Do I really have to be nice to a fellow pastor...

I really think you may lack the maturity in the faith necessary to be a pastor. I struggle with these things as well but a pastor should be a man that has matured in faith and is above reproach. A pastor is by no means perfect and is capable of sin like the rest of us but it seems you are...

    OT- So if, BIG if,

I think no matter what success he has people will remember him more fondly in the future than thye do now. That is how life works and time heals. He was tough to root for because he seemed soft and made it seem that he was bigger than the team. I don't know if that is how he felt but that is...

    OT: I bought a camper

I'm sure it varies by Model but our 2010 flagstaff can get plenty cold in the heat of the summer. We live in New Orleans so we know heat. We did purchase the "PUGS" to put over the bunk ends which helps.

    OT: I bought a camper

My wife and I bought a popup camper for $3k about 6 months ago and we have really enjoyed it. It has AC/Heat, running water, a bathroom, and more space than a lot of the small TT due to the beds folding out. We viewed this as a budget friendly way to see if we really would use a camper and so...

Two must win games vs UF and OM and we are back on track.

Last night was completely on Howland. Even in the first half it was obvious that we were playing right into their hands by walking it up the court and instead of attacking the press we would huddle at half court and hand the ball off until about 10-15 seconds were left on the shot clock. We won...

    Men’s BBall

If Tolu could take just a small step forward offensively we could be really good. Molinar and DJ are the real deal and are NBA talents.

Basketball Prediction Thread sponsored by Ely's - State @ Georgia

I watched their last game. They have some bigs that can shoot we are the more talented team. If we can keep their point guard Wheeler out of the paint I like our chances.

Is tomorrow going to be our smallest football crowd of the modern era?

Fans in the stands is completely irrelevant this year. I have been to several games and enjoyed it but for most people that need to plan and schedule their trips to Starkville they have bowed out this year. I plan to be back regularly attending and tailgating next year God willing.

    REASON TO HAVE HOPE:

I don't think it's getting the players in as much as it is getting the players we have a ton of reps in this offense. I also think going against a pressuring 3-3-5 defense all offseason doesn't prepare us well to go against the rush 3 drop 8 schemes we are seeing.
