    That would explain King Forks dominance along with the Epps kid being as good as he is. Outside of Armstrong and Northside. All who made the state tournament lose huge pieces. Will be interesting to see which 3A schools from beach area reload

    They actually changed the way seeding is done this year. It’s done like football, with power ratings. So in 3C, CHS and Western could conceivably be the # 1 and # 2 seed if they play well enough. No more top seed from each district makes up seeds 1-3. Now the top teams regardless of district...

    Could happen. 5A Stafford is better than their record indicates. Outside of that matchup (WA vs Stafford), I don’t see any of the first round games being very competitive. Semi finals and Finals should be a good ticket.

    West Potomac vs Charlottesville would be a great second round matchup. Might be the two best teams in the tournament. And play a similar style. Could be high scoring
