Pull for …. Absolutely none
Least pull … Prob Kansas. They are closest to us in terms of success & championship pedigree. Despise IU but they are irrelevant. UL is our rival but I don’t know a single UL fan so I don’t hear all that ****. Arkansas irrelevant as well. Kinda a rival. Really...
Just a guess on my part but I’m sure most would say either U of L, Tenn, Duke, UNC, KU or Indiana. Notre Dame just ‘seems’ like an answer out of left field imo
Unpopular answer here but in my limited interactions, it’s Notre Dame fans are the worst. Maybe I just interacted with them at the wrong place/time but they surely caused me to do a double take lol
We are more than capable of beating good teams. UNC, Tenn etc. Our achilies heel seems to be poor to average teams for some God awful reason. Therefore, I’m less confident in the first games.
Hope I’m wrong
Like some have stated, playing at the 4 instead of the 3 played a big part of this imo. For most of the yr he has performed with all the bigs, including Tre. He’s not playing at the 4 when two 7 footers are on the floor or with Tre & a 7 footer.
Not saying this is THE reason for the excellent...
Wall, Cousins, Bledsoe
Knight, Jones, Kanter
Davis, MKG, Lamb
Even Zion, Jabari Parker …
Today’s players just don’t seem to measure up imo. No idea why. Maybe it’s my age or the “get off my lawn” attitude but these past few yrs don’t seem to equate
Can’t say I disagree.
I’d go with:
Tre & Ugo at the 5
Adu & Justin at 4
Reed, Rob, Ant & Wag as backcourt.
That’s about the best 8 man rotation we can muster. Everyone else plays spot minutes here & there & only when absolutely necessary.
Maybe rotate Ugo with Z if the offense is a...
Our rotation seemed to be much improved. What did we see & what didn’t we see tonight?
With the exception of Ugo, we really did not see any of our ‘usual’ post guys. No Tre, no Bradshaw & no Z. Not really. Ugo, Edwards & Thiero got nearly all the run. Not assigning or blaming, just stating...
Elated about the win! Like so many others here I expected us to lose easily by double digits. We’ve been inconsistent at best & they do not lose at home.
Boy was I wrong.
Yes! We showed improvement & guts. But also they missed a great many open looks & never seemed to get into any type of...
Dunno about the ‘storied’ part but no matter.
As bad as it pains me to say , I think u guys will absolutely chew us up & sheet us out orange. We have too many ??? & ya’ll rarely lose at home. Ppl been w8in in line for days as we’ve been calendar marked all yr.
I hope for the best but I fear...
Not bad at all. DJ could still start if healthy but I cannot really disagree with anything said here.
What is our strength? Obviously it’s the offense. What’s our Achilles Heel? Again, obviously defense & rebounding.
We should (imo) play to our strengths by going small & run the opposition...
In all honesty, it’s all moot now (unless we make some rather drastic changes)
Most are accepting the fact that this squad isn’t the team we hoped they’d be. Whether it be defensive woes, lack of rebounding, coaching, etc.
Most seem to have lost nearly all faith that we can make a run. I hope...
