    Biggest Problem....

This. Cliff was a great athlete and shot blocker. Good rebounder but was eatin’ up by skilled centers. Great presence in the paint though. His springiness diminished as time passed perhaps because of injury. Great dunker but had no shot or offensive moves to speak of. That being said...

    Ball Movement

Yeah but at least it satisfied those wanting RU to take more threes. Lol. Just make buckets and stop other team from making them. It’s that simple. GO RU

May have had something to do with taking Vigna out. GO RU

Basketball Rutgers Basketball falls to St. John’s in 4OT exhibition marathon

LOL at graphic of five key additions to SJU roster with three TBD on whether they can even play. You have multiple G League seasons and five schools in five year guys. Then they’re talked about as a top 12 team. Lol. You gotta love, or hate, how Pitino tries to win at all costs. GO RU

How good is Christian Gurdak going to be this season?

Gurdak can ball and his work in the paint is going to open up things outside and those slashing to the basketball. Can you say double team? Was concerned about how big he plays but he held the 7 fter in his place under the basket. Along with Smith, great addition to the roster. GO RU

    Micah Gordon

If he kid was 6’2” or taller he’d be a 5*. Saw him play live at the RAC. Very impressive. Sick vertical for his size. The BIG eats up smaller guards though. Wish him the best. GO RU

    Schiano Men GITT

My man, in 2024 Franklin led State Penn to 13-3 record and was a drive away from beating Notre Dame and playing in the Natty game against Bama. That dude is not a champion but he’s definitely a winner. Guy is 131-60 (.686 Win %) in 16 yrs as a head coach. GO RU

    DBs and Safetys are Horrible

I thought the true freshmen [don’t recall name] and the Villanova transfer were pretty good. Others not so much and didn’t see the Munn kid out there. He was torched a few times in prior games. GO RU

    Does Anyone Have A List….

Of the starters yesterday? Curious to compare to starters/positions in UMass and BC games. Starting players like Allison at mlb and Needham at tackle in first two games are examples of coaches misevaluating talent, skillset and usage. GO RU

    Schiano Men GITT

I was pushing for Greg to be hired a few yrs after graduating from RU and Greg was the DC at Miami. His coaching pedigree, former RU GA, from Jersey and his vision of bringing national championships to RU I was all in. The highlight of GS 1.0 was an 11-2 season where RU didn’t win the...

Season Ticket Streak - Keep Going or Let Expire?

Started season tixs with young alum season package for $50 in ‘97. Had football season tixs for 17 yrs in section 128 and gave up for the life of traveling around the States for daughter’s soccer schedule. She’s going into senior HS year. I’ll be back and look forward to traveling to a...

Why Did Rutgers Have to Rutgers?

Sorry to hear about your experience with the specialized RU school tour. Bergen County is the epicenter of self loathing New Jerseyians. Some Bergen county parents prefer sending their kid to South Carolina or Alabama before sending them to RU [where they probably wouldn’t get in anyways]...
