    Next year's schedule

Maybe 4 wins. You need some kind of offense and QB to score points.

President Obama @ RU Commencement (merged)

Brilliant day! After 25 years of often negative scandal driven news and publicity, Rutgers hits a home run.

    Steve Pikiell Hired Per Politi

No one else wanted this job. Well known fact that the program has carried a curse for 25 years - generations of coaches, scandals and a statistically improbable record of consistent failure. This is a brave man - wish him luck.

NYT writer takes shots at our program

Sigh! I wish we did not give these writers so much amunition like the Mike Rice, etc. And it is easy to take shots at 25 years of BBall futility.

Mid majors, like Monmouth, Iona, Hofstra,do they have great facilities?

Nonsense. Rutgers would be a bottom dweller in every mid major conference. So it is NOT just facilties. Many of these schools play in glorified high school arenas. But they apparently are not cursed as the Rutgers program has been for 30 years.

SIAP: very negative story from the New York Times

A lot of stupid comments -- pinko rag???? Jeez. This is a front page story in one of the most important papers in the country that is all true. It will be picked up all over the place. It is amazing that Rutgers gets so much media attention -- much more than we ever deserve. During the...

    clean house

Flood out. Neutral on JH. But the gang crime spree is reason to fire everyone. Only problem - a poor university goes deeper into debt paying all of this off. Fire them for cause and make them sue.

Washington Post on CFB spending - heavy on RU and Auburn

Oh, boy. We even have to compete with private jets. How the hell did Rutgers end up as the co-star in this article? Auburn may be losing money but they do it in style. We are paupers compared to the rest of the college world. A million from Corzine is loose change. There just has to be a...

    It's over!

Jeez, I would have thought it was over when a bunch of his players decided to go on a hip-hop crime spree. Yes, it happens a lot but it is usually individuals involved. Not a gang. And not against fellow students. Flood sets the tone. I just can't imagine this ever happening on a GS team...

Suck it up. Next year is the year Flood will be judged.

When a team has so little moral fiber that a bunch of players go on a gang banging crime spree against fellow students, that is on the coach. He sets the tone. Yea, I know that Rutgers is poor as hell and can't afford to play in this league. Catch 22. How many contracts are we still paying...

The Legacy of Schiano, the Present under Flood and the Future of Rutgers Football

We became the joke of college football under Shea. Everything the OP says about Schiano is true. Flood's biggest sin is the lack of team morals - having 5 defensive players/starters go on some gangsta inspired crime spree is nothing short of disgraceful. It is HIS team and he has embarrassed the...

When does the B1g money start to kick in?

Out of our league. Rutgers is poor to start with and full B1G money does not kick into 2021 - 6 years from now. Even the other poor bottom feeder Maryland has UnderArmour money. We have nothing and are still paying off lousy contracts for disgraced personnel. It really is hopeless. Shows me...

Statement of Support for Kyle Flood from Julie Hermann

Having a bunch of his defensive starters out on a gangsta rap spree put a nail in Flood's coffin. The rest is just the mop up including a couple of more B1G blow outs this year. If he stays it is only because we are broke and just can't pay the going rate for Power 5 coaching.

    WE HAVE 65,000 STUDENTS !!!

No. If Rutgers had any decent PR outreach and muscle some of this stuff could be avoided. Just another scandal that is blowing up on a national level and we sit back and watch. Yea, NJ media has had it out for Rutgers for years and Rutgers has done absolutely nothing to fix the mess. The...
