Current State of RU Football and Who is to Blame

Kyle, I certainly appreciate your love for the Rutgers program. I feel you’re missing the mark by heeping so much praise on Pat Hobbs and leaving him blameless. Here’s why; Bob Mulcahy is the man solely responsible for hiring Greg Schiano, spending the money and making the necessary changes...

Politi; The Clock is Ticking on Chris Ash. Article

I’m furious regarding the state of the football program. Because Hobbs committed such a large contract to Ash he won’t be going anywhere any time soon. It’s going to be very hard to listen to Hobbs cover his butt, asking us to be patient while Ash turns things around.

    Greg

I consider a rebuild a program with a broken infrastructure, no support, and no history of winning and broken recruiting relationships. I feel a Tennessee is a exactly what Greg would want. It’s a well established brand name, the facilities are the top tier, and the Athletic Department I...

    Greg

I didn’t say there was a P5 looking for Greg. I’m saying he is not going to leave OSU to take a backward step. Greg is smart enough to know Rutgers isn’t going to get it done. At this stage of his career he isn’t interested in another rebuild. He wants to take over somewhere he can win.

    Greg

Greg Schiano does not want to come back to Rutgers. He sees his career as being on an upward trajectory and taking the head coaching job at Rutgers is a giant step back for him. He wants a head coaching position however, he knows from first hand experience Rutgers is never going to be in a...

    Being old school,I'd take a male over a women in the same sport,but- - - - -

Player for player, our Women’s Basketball team’s athletes are far more talented than our Men’s team.

Politi--The offensive coordinator won't matter at Rutgers unless the talent improves

You’re right. The basketball team is improving with 2nd tier talent because We brought in a great coach. Politi stopped short of writing, “it’s Chris Ash’s fault”. It is! I don’t see why, heading into year three of Ash’s tenure, it’s not okay to point out how poorly recruiting for our football...

    RAC?

The folks who handle the audio/visual at football and basketball equate a loud sound system with excitement. They do not understand how to read the flow of a game, how the crowd reacts to that flow, and what audio (Band vs. canned music) will excite the crowd. Case in point: Last night...

    As expected, Frost to Nebraska

Ok, I’ll start it. How does Frost take a terrible UCF Football team to a New Years Day bowl in just two years?

    Shame

In another thread someone asked why recruits don't come to Rutgers. The OP's post addresses part of it, there hasn't been any player development on our team for several years and the situation appears to be getting worse under Ash. Also, the way Ash handled the quarterback situation thus year...

THE OFFICIAL RUTGERS-MICHIGAN STATE PREDICTION THREAD

Last week our team was playing to keep bowl hopes alive. They came out flat and looked uninspired. Ash looked lost on the sidelines. My feeling is he has lost this team. MSU has some issues, but nothing troubling enough for our uninspired Scarlet Knights to pull off the upset in front of a...

Another tabloid title by our friends. .

If you don't like the truth shouting down the person who agrees with that truth will not make it go away. Rutgers Athletics has a systemic problem whether you like it or not. Another scandal is brewing regarding an abusive coach. If you disagree with me, why not make an intelligent argument...
