Just remember...2-3 years ago everyone was making the same glowing predictions about the Mets...great young talent, the pitching rotation the future, etc, etc You never know who will have sophomore jinx, who will not repeat a phenomenal...

    I have been researching this (informally) ever since I entered Rutgers College in 1967 from Fair Lawn, and to my surprise, kids from central Jersey had never heard if Goosey Night. From what I have learned, it seems Goosey Night originated in Paterson and spread to towns settled by Patersonians.
