    OT: Statins

I agreed to take 5mg of statins just to stop the VA from pestering me. My LDLs went way down, but so did my HDLs, such that my ratio of LDLs to HDLs was much higher. I have always thought I would be OK as long as my ratio was under 3.5. I always thought LDLs are like marshmallows and HDLs are...

Question about how to get Peacock

They also offer a discount to veterans. I'm sorry I don't remember exactly how to apply, but I had to get a "code" to submit with application. After receiving my code, they "verified" my veterans status almost instantly and started charging my credit card $2.99/mo.

I would like to see more California recruitment of QBs that make quick decisions with passing reads in high school (see! West Coast offense skills).

A few years ago Arizona had 26 quarterbacks, mostly starters, at D1 level. Brock Purdy will probably bring some attention to this. RU did recruit AZ qb Nicco Marchiol who ended up at WV. A lot of high school kids transfer in to AZ high schools from out of state, eg. #1 ranked Dylan Raiola who...

    Let's just beat Delaware

I played on the 1960 RU freshman team. Our coach was Chuck Klausing who is now in college football HOF. Coach Klausing's Braddock, PA high school team had a 55 game winning streak when he came to RU as freshman coach. We extended his streak to 60 wins and then we played Delaware at home before a...

BB Recruiting Rutgers in Josh Baker’s Final 3

My friends son, who I know quite well, played on AZ HS all star team with him. His reply when I asked about character "Yes he is super high character.... also one of the hardest workers I know."

OT: What cell phone providers do you guys have?

Republic wireless if you try to make most calls on Wi-Fi and in a good area for Sprint. (Sprint is fallback carrier). Less than $20 month. No voice contact with company. All communication via internet. I have been using for about 6 years.

OT: Floyd Little has entered hospice care / Died

He had the pleasure of running by me several times that game. Do you remember the score? It was pretty bad as I recall.

    Indiana

"The left tackle on O had a bad game, granted Toney is good player for PSU." He couldn't move his feet or bend his knees. Perfect for Toure. I'm sure the coaches will notice in film.

    OT: Temperature in Phoenix

Since my gym is closed, I've been running up a flood control spill way in Pecos Park here in Phoenix. I'm always very hydrated.1.5 mile walk to spill way. It's about 30 yards long, 25 degree incline. 20 reps. up and down. 1.5 mile walk back. 3 times a week. Top temp 112 during run. I'm 78 and...
