Am I the only one disappointed with Liberty Bowl?

Oh come on, I lived on New York street, people just park all over Cooper Young for Liberty Bowl. Just don’t leave anything valuable in plain sight and nothing is gonna happen to your car. Which is basically the case in every major city in the country.

    OT: The Last Jedi

Also, let's not forget that Luke Skywalker was kind of a whiny little ***** for most of the original trilogy. I found it entirely plausible that he would grow up to be a grumpy old whining jerk. So I was down with it.

Y'all keeping up with the Tennessee fiasco?

It's hearsay that someone felt compelling enough to state in a deposition under oath.

https://deadspin.com/greg-schiano-isnt-good-enough-to-get-a-pass-1820761224 Schiano, who was an assistant at Penn State from 1990–95, was named in a deposition by former assistant Mike McQueary, the key witness that helped imprison Jerry Sandusky for the rest of his life for raping and abusing...

Y'all keeping up with the Tennessee fiasco?

Man I just don't think you can in good conscience hire anybody that was even accused of that stuff. That they didn't have enough evidence to charge him, I get that, but let's be real - if you even have to ask if there's the possibility your coach covered up child rape, I think it's best to stay...

Y'all keeping up with the Tennessee fiasco?

UTK fans stood up to their admin trying to hide Greg damn Schiano, who possibly helped in the Sandusky coverup, and national sportswriters accused the fanbase of being a dumb, redneck mob that ran off a perfectly great candidate. Pat Forde was one of them. Really, really out of touch. edit -...

I think that's a totally valid point; economic growth is really only enjoyed by a small portion of Americans right now. NYC now may be way more expensive these days, but you'd be hard pressed to argue that it's a worse place for poor African Americans to live now than it was in the 80's. The...

You gotta think of it as a metro area, and not just "the city of Jackson." I would think that metro Jackson is the state's biggest economic engine; if the municipality of Jackson is somewhat subsidized by the suburbs, that is what it is, but Iuka isn't subsidizing the Jackson metro area by any...

You should read more. https://www.zagat.com/americas-next-hot-food-cities/birmingham Check your census data. Urban cores are growing faster than suburbs now, and rural areas are losing population. American cities are making a comeback.

You'd be completely wrong. Ole Miss is a destination school. I dropped my kid off at daycare (I live in New Jersey) last year, and met someone whose best friend is enrolling at Ole Miss. No connections to the school or Mississippi, just heard it was a fun party school with a pretty campus. I'm...

    OT: Toronto

Ontario Highway 401. It's the busiest road in North America. Toronto's downtown is great. I'd stick to public transit, cabs/uber when in the city proper. North of town there's some nice scenery, too. I haven't been in a few years, so I don't have much to add in the way of bars or restaurants.
