    I agree with the money but Konkel has serious deficiencies in his ability to coach. The tournament shows what a coach can do even if the NIL is less than the other program. We just have another coach that is unable to get out of his own way and change.

    There is certainly a talent issue but that is not the problem. We go into every game knowing that we will be outcoached. Konkel has no clue on how to coach a team. He needs to just stay in his office and calculate stats because that seems to be the only thing he knows.

    In this environment, schools should be able to "fire" the player. If they don't perform, tell them to pack up and leave immediately. Lets see how players like that if they have nowhere to go in the middle of January.

    Konkol should be let go immediately. One of the worst hires ever. Could be worse than Wilson. Previous AD put us in a terrible position.

    Cardell is not close to Francis. Francis is able to throw and read quickly. Cardell does not have that talent.

    Talent? Wilson knew this roster was depleted, especially at Quarterback. Just go back and listen to his comments about the throwing abilities. Wilson will need to recruit an actual QB that can throw.

    You are talking about players that have limited eligibility and were not producing at the same level that they were as younger players.
