Macy’s family was driving her in from E-town for the last two years. I think this was a family decision. I also was told by a person close to Mercy’s basketball program earlier this summer that her dream school is Tennessee. I saw her and her parents at multiple UofL games last season wearing...
Very excited about this team after watching all four games. What a bonus to get 10 practices and four games under your belt with a totally new team. CJW and staff, now have film to work with leading up to Fall camp. They all bring something to the table and is already playing unselfish team...
I can assure you that Coach Jeff Walz and staff are doing everything possible to get Johnson to Louisville. The same can be said for Leah Macy the 6’3” player from Mercy. As someone else said, if they desire to leave the city there’s not a whole heck of a lot we can do. All I can tell you is...
Well people ***** that we didn’t have a single freshman for this class then we get one and she’s a big that needs a red shirt. We also have HVS who is 6’3” to go along with Olivia plus if you look at who we’ve signed, we got several in the 6’-6’2” range. Some people just aren’t happy regardless...
She’s actually 6’5” but who’s counting! She didn’t start playing basketball until 9th grade so she’s obviously behind. The plan is to redshirt her and hopefully develop her. She’s the only freshman in this class. Other offers included UK and Iowa among others.
I have to respectfully disagree when it comes to covering women’s athletics and Ty even told me this as we sat together watching spring football practice. It’s not his or Dave’s focus. I will continue to comment as I hear things from reliable sources. By the way, I go all the way back to Rob...
WBB news: Florida guard Nina Rickards is transferring to Louisville.
Rickards averaged 12.1 PPG last season to go along with 4.9 RPG. The 5-foot-9 guard scored over 1,000 points in her four seasons in Gainesville
You’re on the wrong message board. Since Sonja left, there’s nobody that really follows and reports on the women’s game here. I get most of my information from Twitter and TOS. Their Walz’s World and Premium site do a great job as far as covering Women’s athletics.
We are not involved with Morrow but we are with her teammate Darrione Rogers who is supposed to visit in a few days. It’s my understanding that we are also involved with Sydney Taylor from UMass and Nina Rickards from Florida. Both are guards that visited this week. All three are bigger guards...
I can’t speak to the status of them but I do expect CJW to announce the signing of Cal State Bakersfield forward Hennie Van Schaik. She’s a 6‘4” native of the Netherlands and was on the Big West All-Freshman team last season and this season led CSB in scoring and rebounding. She averaged 11.6...
Jeff mentioned this morning on the Deener show that he has a recruit on campus today with her parents. He said they flew back from Seattle on a red eye only to meet with this recruit Tuesday morning with just a couple hours to spare. He also mentioned that he hopes to sign 4 to 5 players out of...
