Florida’s Keyontae being released from hospital

Myocarditis can result in heart failure and sudden death. Problem is that it does increase your chances of reoccurance. It can also result in chronic dilated cardiomyopathy. It would be wise to consider what factors and environments are most likely to trigger such reactions. If you had a 15%...

Florida’s Keyontae being released from hospital

No way, college basketball isnt that big of a drain on finances. Especially not in the age of humongous tv contracts. The power 5 conference teams are getting 10-30 million yearly. Im sure the NCAA is getting their finances in certain ways as well.

Awesome!!! news out of Florida today. Keyontae Johnson talked to his team today

If I were the AD at UF, I would offer free room and board at UF even if he chooses not to play anymore. I do hope that type of generiousity is given to other athletes across the country who go through serious medical situations.

    Ncaa tournament canceled

Agreed it was reported that either Duke or UNC said they wouldn't play in the tourney if there was one held. I tried to go back to the article to get the link but now I cant find the specific article because the story is blowing up. Whichever one it was, they probably weren't alone. Doubtful...

    Tom Hanks

Except that money ultimately isn't the end all be all. It was reported he takes the same medicine as everyone else. Here's a quote as well. "There is nothing unique about Magic," said Spencer Lieb, senior epidemiologist and HIV/AIDS research coordinator for the Florida Consortium for HIV/AIDS...

    Florida controls it’s own destiny

For those mentioning that UF hasn't played great teams lately - This is true. However, I think you're missing the big point. UF has fallen behind(score) HUGE to bad/average teams. Take for example losing by 22 points at one point to UGA....AT HOME. Now, UF came back for the win, but UF has a...

    Kentucky vs Florida

I would say that they are very similar in SOME ways. UGA, Bama, and UF have all struggled with consistency. It's for that reason it's hard to tell who is better between Bama and UF at this point, despite UF beating bama earlier in the year. Potential-wise? Upper celing? No doubt it's UF. As...

    Kentucky vs Florida

Alabama is scrappy. They may not have the best record, but they can put it together at times. And they can probably beat anybody at home. They also just beat LSU worse than UK did. It has less to do with Auburn crapping the bed and more to do with Bama playing at home.

    Kentucky vs Florida

You must not watch UF play much or just look at the scores. When UF plays like a team should, they are very good....its why they crushed Auburn. However, they have bad games where they played like individuals....lack of ball movement/bad shot selection....little defense.....and that's why they...

    Kentucky vs Florida

UF fan here. UF has done better than usual lately. When they are playing their proven best, I firmly believe they are capable of beating anybody. When playing their worst? A local community college could probably beat them. UF has not dropped off it's consistency to play well like they've done...

    Saturday's other games thread

Imo, and others, he will get at least one more year. As disappointing as this session has been thus far, I dont joy in anyone losing their job. So if UF does indeed up in a clunker of a season.....I would give him one more year unless a noticeable improvement is seen.

And some posters thought everything was great in part because we rallied 22 points to beat a bad UGA team on our home court. Siiigh
