    Collin Chandler last 2 games

    Chandler reminds me of Brea. Both were / are very good spot up shooters that can get hot. Brea had a decent handle but didnt do a lot (until the end of the season) to create his own shot. Chandler struggles to create his own shot. Only Denzel and Oweh can do that. If Chandler comes back...

    A&M will have more on the line in this one. They will be fired up. We will need to match that intensity.

    This is my fear. They probably need the win worse than we do and it is a home game for them. We will have to bring the same intensity and offensive game execution as we showed with Miss St.

    YTD 3-Point Shooting Summary

    A pretty significant drop off from 2023/2024. Was hoping that Jelavic would be as good as Ivisic. Also, was hoping that Williams would shoot as well as Almanor and be a better defender. I still think Johnson should get more time at the 1 position.

    Jasper Johnson is bipolar against good teams. He absolutely should not play more minutes until that changes.

    Hard to make your mark or get into any kind of a rhythm when you are averaging around 5 or 6 minutes of game time. I have hope for Jasper and want him to play at least that much if not a little more in order to get the experience that will help us in Feb / Mar.

    The number of players saying Noah and Kam's shooting is a positive. Hope to have a good rotation so that they get to see some time on the floor. Dividing up minutes is going to be a real task this year, especially once Jayden comes back.

    Minniefeld dunk looks crazy -- like he had someone invisible gave him a boost midway through his jump. But all of the clips of Jones, Cauley-Stein, and Azebuike just reminds you of the run and gun and crazy athleticism that came through here in the last 20+ years.

    Watching all the talking heads pick Tennessee

    We need the scoring that Butler provided in the Illinois game. If we can get scoring from four out of five positions, I think we can make a real run at it.

    Maryland Coach Kevin Willard to Villanova

    Yes, their AD just left. Also, many here in Maryland think it is a leverage ploy. Willard just did a massive dump on the program saying it needs more funding and backing. He refused to sign the contract extension until a new AD is hired.
