    Brody Hubl for Hitchcock County is showing a lot of grit. He can barely jog and is breaking off 20+ yard carries. Somehow 0-6 Perkins in a shootout with 5-1 Hitchcock.

    CEC Waivers - Opting down and still gaining Elgibility

    What are peoples thoughts on these CEC Waivers? I understand the point: to grant teams a chance to play at a winning level. Which is fine, but why allow them to be eligible for the playoffs? What happens when these 11-man schools that opt down to 8-man have 3 or 4 bad, bad years, and the NSAA...

    Yes they do. 23 teams in B is abysmal. I get that its how it works for now, there is too much off a separation from top to bottom of B and A. I love to complain but not sure what a good solution would be. Everyone giving grief to 8-man going to 3 classes saying "participation trophies". Yet...

    Couldn't agree more. If Vrbka isn't fully healthy it is a gamechanger. EB may have enough athletes to spread it wide and make plays in the open field.
