I would say Physical Geography under Dr. Charles Wax. A Sr year elective. It turned out to be my favorite class I ever took at State. It focused a lot on weather patterns and how physical geography and weather interacts. Dr. Wax was great. Probably my favorite professor as well.
Can’t go wrong with either of those dudes. I’d like to add Alan Jackson as an honorable mention.

I love meteorology and wish I would have majored in it while at State. Weather just amazes me. But I am so tired of Mississippi constantly being the bullseye every spring for high risk severity storms/tornadoes. I really appreciate all the awareness and alertness from our weather guys/gals down...

Looking for best route from
Jackson metro to Ft. Walton. Google maps gives me two options take 49 and 98 then I-10. Other is take I20 to Meridian, then 45 To I-10.
Google says the first route should be 20 - 25 mins shorter w/ no tolls.
