I have heard he ran a similar system in HS, but does he have any running ability if things breakdown? He was a “pro style” vs “duel threat” prospect, but was curious from folks that might have watched him in high school.
I am looking into some of the Oxbows and that is a good idea. I am trying to stay away from those larger lakes like Sardis. In a kayak it takes quite a bit of time to get to where you need to get. Not to mention a ton of boats that are often not looking out for kayakers. Appreciate it!

Appreciate it fellas! That Yellowtail option out of Venice sounds like a good idea. I need to find out how serious these Co-workers are about it though. Not sure if they are more interested in just inshore or could/would want to handle offshore...doesn’t bother me, but couple guys are from NYC.
