He, like most of us, was flabbergasted we lost to that team. I’m not sure he said anything that deserves the kind of backlash he’s getting. Their fans on social media are something else. Even before the game. I hope Iowa goes 0-12 next year.
A title? No. But then again we probably would not have been in that position. If you know your QB can’t run a 2 min. Offense, you don’t punt on 4th and inches with 4 minutes and 1 timeout left.
What in hell does it matter who needs the game or doesn’t? You can hope a player had a great game and that team still lose.
