How did you learn how to swim…?

Mom booked 2 week's lessons with a late-teen goddess. Yeeah, I learned to swim.

    Pop pop pop

PSA. I had to look it up... "A ghetto phrase for a severe beating over the head, or a gunshot to the head".

    The most you’ve paid…..

$250 for Metallica. They were damn good seats. On the flip side, I paid $60 for Roger Waters seats that didn't exist and got front-row of the bottom bowl as replacements.

    OT: Crawfish prices …

Just bought some a Brewski's on my way to see the family. Paid $5.00 lb for cooked. They were good and good-sized but lots of straight-tails though. They're double that in Nashville.

The most famous person you’ve ever met….

I met Paul Newman at a celebrity car race in the 90's. Took a bit to get him to loosen up, but he ended up being very cordial.

Damn - Oxford got it bad...

Not a horticulturalist, but in my experience, as long as it's just limbs and not into base of the trunk, they have a chance of rebounding. Over the years I've seen pine, oak, ornamentals, etc. bounce back from major damage. Won't look the same, certainly.
