    Mexican beach resorts

Not AI, but we much prefer Zihuatanejo to Cancun. Fly through Houston to ZIH. Great restaurants, fishing, ambience. $10 for an hour massage in a beachside cabana. Friendly. Safe. $2 cab rides. Check out Aura Del Mar. short of going to Italy or France, our favorite vacation spot. This is...

    New review on Trip advisor

It's nice It's a nice day trip, and does have goats and stuff. I have a view of Mt. Evans from my deck. I'll be more than happy to take any good bulldog up for a LOT cheaper than $780!

    Best casual seafood near Gulfport?

Bozos in goula was just named one of the 20 best seafood dives in America. BBs in Ocean Springs is great. Taranto in Woolmarket is great. Disappointed in McElroys last time. Will not go back to Shaggys or Whitecap.

OT: Quick thoughts on Jekyll Island?

You might want to check out the next island, St. Simons. More laid back - more family friendly - less expensive - very historic. The historic King and Prince hotel is owned by Mike Sturdivant and family. Great place to vacation.

OT: Anyone ever done a River Cruise in Europe?

I will confess I work because I want to and enjoy going to the office - not because I have to work.

OT: Anyone ever done a River Cruise in Europe?

Did the Rhine last year with Gate 1 on the Sound of Music. Flew into Basel 2 days early to adjust and recommend that. Cruised Basel to Amsterdam (week on water ). Cruise, food, excursions, scenery were all wonderful. Loved Strasbourg! Gate 1 has a trip that continues on to Bruges, Brussels...

Super Bowl - what's everyone eating?

eats Not much grilling in February at 7500' in Colorado. We have some MSU cheese and crackers to nibble on, some Modelo wash it down, and then at half time a nice bottle of pinot grigio, a big pot of our almost world famous Creole Jambalaya, garlic bread, coleslaw, and a homemade southern...

    Ask the Pack: Las Vegas

vegas Try to get a room at the Bellagio (try for a room on the front so you can watch the fountains from your bed). Take a helicopter to the Grand Canyon for breakfast down in the canyon. Eat at Prime. Unless you are driving outside of town don't rent a car. Eat at Palm. Watch the...

OT - Out of state alumni, what made you leave the state of Mississippi?

taxes I live in Evergreen (Jefferson County) and find taxes here more than in MS. Car tags where I live are just - if not more - expensive. I know gasoline is more expensive. Where I could really save some money by moving back is in state income tax as (and I'm no accountant) they tell me...

OT - Out of state alumni, what made you leave the state of Mississippi?

Costs.... My condo is appreciating at 9.5 % annually👍. However, taxes (sales, property, car tags, etc), gasoline, entertainment, eating out, most everything are all higher here.

OT - Out of state alumni, what made you leave the state of Mississippi?

We left after retiring at 64 to be close to our only child and grandchild in TX. Then my son - in - laws company transferred him to Kentucky and we decided we couldn't follow them. I have always loved CO so we migrated here 10 years ago. The winters can be brutal at times but are actually...
