    PF for 2023?

We’re out on KJ Evans. Not entirely sure why he included us in his final “list;” I’m sure a UK hat on the table will look very nice for the public. Outside chance—still a lot of optimism from others—with Ron Holland, but I think by the time he makes a decision, we could be a little “full” in...

Would Castleton consider a 5th year with us?

An easy way to alleviate a lot of that down low is to also have outstanding perimeter defense and guys who can really make it tough to get into the lane. This year, when our guys are locked in and ready, they’ve proven they’re a force up there. This alone helps Oscar and reduces the need for a...

Would Castleton consider a 5th year with us?

I understand why you’re making this point, and I’m not saying you’re wrong; I actually think there is some legitimacy to your statement(s). But, I also understand the push back from others, which I have to agree with. Personally, I would rather maintain a dominant “true” five, and focus on...

    Best available transfers next season

I like this new approach we’re seeing; a good mixture of mature, proven transfers and outstanding freshmen with high-level talent. With Skyy Clarke de-committing, I think this is further evidence that this will be Cal’s strategy for recruiting as he closes out his career here. Sign a few...

Are we going to get Bona - or not ?

I do find it uncharacteristic that no one has mentioned anything (other than KSR, but I hadn’t seen or heard it myself) about the visit. This may be the first high-profile official visit that I can think of under Calipari where we literally heard nothing from anyone the Monday after? I’m not...

    Lively Decision next week!

At this current moment ... I don’t think anyone definitively knows. From what I can tell: Kentucky followers are starting to hedge and lean Duke, while Duke followers are cautiously waiting to know for certain, as well; essentially, I think most people are leaning a different direction because...

    Sharpe on campus

I agree; something has been said to him/KSR that is substantial enough to make this kind of statement. I would assume someone (Sharpe) has indicated they’re coming—I’m sure we’ll know something concrete soon.

    Hickman gone, so who’s coming?

Agreed! Simply trying to stay optimistic during an uncertain period. As far as Hickman, I would say it is what he stated—losing the assistant coaches caused the de-commitment. I understand why he would want to look elsewhere. However, Ralphdalton had some interesting information yesterday he...

    Hickman gone, so who’s coming?

You’re right! But, in this instance, it would concern Hickman. I’m sure he wants to play immediately. He’s talented and I really like him, but, there is a good chance he would get buried in the roster for this upcoming season and the next season.

    Hickman gone, so who’s coming?

Something that could be overlooked by many is how this impacts the 2022 class. With Hickman out of the fold, this should—theoretically—put us in a better position with Jaden Bradley. I really like Hickman, but, if we can strengthen our position with Skyy and Jaden for next year [2022-2023] at...

    Chin Coleman

Up-and-coming assistant coach; started with Tim Miles in 2013 at Colorado State and followed him to Nebraska, after eight-years of coaching in high school and in AAU. Chin Coleman is well-known throughout the grassroots level of basketball and has significant connections within that level for...

    Oscar Tshiebwe introductory zoom

Some criticism from various people over his fallout at West Virginia and his decreased production this past season before his transfer; honestly, I think the kid was simply unhappy and did not want to be there anymore. A new school and fresh situation, I think we’ll see much of the potential...
