OT: March Weather Banter; OG Thread Was: Winter Storm Thursday 2/20: Very Likely Somewhere Between A Non-Event and a Minor Event (oof)

Reading #s and Bac going back and forth is AS, if not MORE entertaining than the first 9 seconds of USA-Canada.

OT: Your stories of a brush with famous people.

While growing up in Stamford, CT, was on a Little League team with the son of former newsman, Morton Dean. Used to hang out at their house. Nice guy. Did one of those eye contact/head nods with Stephen Colbert once at FunPlex in Hanover, as we both secretly acknowledged to each other that we...

OT: Moderate to Significant Snow (and some rain SE of 95) for Sunday, 1/19.

Reminds me of my dad dropping me back off from winter break during my freshman year. Got there early, dorms not open yet as confirmed by a maintenance guy doing some shoveling. Dad took me to Burger King down on Easton Ave. in Somerset. Bonding moment. Make some memories, and safe travels.

    Every phase is a disaster

Been a fan since before I was a student, from late 70s. Schiano - good guy, builder of men, all that. Bad coach. OT: 2024 Atlantic Tropical Forecasts: CSU/NHC Say Very Active Season; Rafael to Weaken to a TS before coming close to the Northern GOM

Ugh. Gf's relatives are in Englewood - their home was trashed with the last storm. All furniture ruined, interior sheetrock already removed, place (the side facing the bay) already boarded up. She was already considering tearing it down vs. sitting on it. Value is in the land, which will...

Football Rutgers Football defeats Virginia Tech, 26-23

I'm listening on WFAN 101.9. It is two plays behind the ESPN Gamecast feed on my laptop. I'd actually prefer the other way around. Anybody know the secret to unlock that?

    OT: Nashville recco's

If you like speakeasies, there’s one in the basement of the Noelle hotel, just off the main strip. It’s pretty cool. If you like blues, Bourbon Street Blues is really cool as well. There’s obviously 1 million places you can find good music, but that was a nice find when I was there. The grand...
