    I'm from the area and am a UK grad '84 so the avatar related more to my time on their board. I've been an NU fan since the dark ages. Both parents are NU alumni and I worked there for three years. My mother and great aunt had over 50 years of service to the university.

    Kentucky has been a disappointment this year. There's two games they should have flat out won and found a way to lose. In a way I'm glad, as now they're unlikely to play and NU in a bowl game as my loyalties would be divided.

    Midvale Dave is ill and needs our help

    I posted more in the past but rarely do so now. Dave was one of the few on this board that I met in person. He was very generous and give me an extra ticket to a game. I really enjoyed hanging out with and talking Cats football for a couple hours. I will continue to pray for him.
