SR vs Marist could be a fun 2 year deal after that last Prep Bowl game. Kind of an untapped Southside matchup. Don't think they've played in regular season since they opened at Soldier Field in '12-'13.
I was also extremely impressed with the Prep Bowl coverage on Marquee. Broadcast/replays were great and I really enjoyed Henry Burris on the call. Would be a shame if they don't lean into broadcasting more regular season Chicagoland games.
Possibly. None of this is confirmed, just putting together bits and pieces of information (including Comisky's leaked LA schedule so take the reliability with a grain of salt if you want). No reason to think LA isn't the top of the Blue and if they don't have SR as their crossover then SR ain't...
So correct where wrong but after compiling some grapes on this vine along with some new whispers, this might be little closer to the potential divisions in correct order...
Per board's knowledge, there are no Blue/Red, Green/White, and Orange/Purple crossovers.

FWIW schools don’t do anything themselves but upload their schedule of games. Pixellot cameras are setup by their tech people sent to the school for install. Depending on the location of the cameras, they not only setup the automated camera but those cameras are hardwired into a desktop computer...
In the past SR has used multiple DL coaches for interior and ends. Probably the case for the title. And dont forget the Iowa connection with Hopkins and Banks. Great network to have.
Talk about a major influx of coaching talent! No disrespect to Coach Kuska but I imagine the new hires at St. Rita are bringing some serious juice to that offseason program. Week 4 is going to feature two Heisman runner-up QBs going at it as coaches. Can't ask for better than that in the new era...
Back to the topic at hand -
Think it's safe to say about 90% of southside lower level staffs are either alums or guys who've been around the program a long time at various levels. While it's not totally uncommon to promote lower level vacancies on Twitter, I think from a southside perspective...
Unsurprising, but I thought of a Super Bowl champion and handful of QBs making their return to the southside…

Congratulations to an outstanding coach and CCL legend. Few in the country can say they built a HS football powerhouse like he did in Wilmette. I hope his coaching days aren’t behind him for good because football minds like his deserve to be shared.
Also, just like that, MC’s Jordan Lynch...
With all due respect to ‘22 MC, they would get grinded down to a pulp by the some of the mid-90s MC teams. Carter Kopach/Steve Filer ‘06 team was tremendous as well. Just a different breed. ‘22 MC offense would maybe get 5 possessions in the game. Fun hypothetical with two totally different...
Unfortunate because it was a first down but it was the correct call. The BR WR on the MC side was covering the TE on the line. He had to be off the line and was not. Bummer.
I’m still trying to do the math how BR has 750 kids in the school but only has 114 kids in the senior class… 114 seniors and 200+ in each of the following classes?
Good luck assuming your kid will choose those schools to just enjoy 4 years of football or can step on the field in college as a freshman and play. No disrespect, but I think there’s incredible old school honor these days for kids who take the PWO leap of faith. You know what stories you hear...
