    OT: Grills

I've had a Saffire Grill (https://saffiregrills.com/) Kamado style grill for about 3 years now. It is fantastic. Can do everything from searing steaks at 600 degrees to smoking pork butts low and slow at 225 for 12 hours. Saffire is a family owned company.

    OT: 2017 Fantasy Football

Try DRAFT. DRAFT is a snake draft DFS that is easy to play, fast, and with maximum 10-person leagues, gives you a much greater chance of winning. Check it out at playdraft.com. You can play on the site, but the app is the better experience.

Premier League is back. Who you got?

Adopted Arsenal a couple of years make as my daughter's travel team is named after them. Might take a look at one of the new teams also. Be nice to get in on the ground floor of either Newcastle, Brighton &a Hove or Huddersfield . Huddersfield got off to a good start with a win. Didn't see the...

I like Padron. Favorite is Maduro, Robusto size. Nice smooth smoke. Lasts about 40 minutes. Also like Ghurkas.

OT: Cut the cord by signing up with Comcast... wait what?

I cut my Fios cable bill (phone, tv and internet) almost I n half by dropping TV and phone and just keeping internet. Went from $210/month to $110month. One caveat, I was not under contract so I didn't have to pay the penalty to break my contract. I have 3 Amazon TV Firesticks (replaced cable...

OT: B1G Cord-Cutting News - YouTube offers new monthly Live TV service $35/month

I cut the cord a few months ago. If you want OTA and stations like CNN, AHC, MSNBC, Nat Geo, Discovery etc look at PlayStation Vue and SlingTV. With those you don't have to have a HD antenna. I'm in Mercer County and get NYC tv stations CBS, NBC, ABC. With antennae I only got Philly and local...

OT: Streaming TV is beginning to look a lot like cable

I'm thinking of ditching the cable boxes and going with Sling TV (via Firestick). Just keeping landline (for alarm system) and internet. Anyone have success with that combination?

    OT: Commuting into NYC

People complain about the commute time into the city. Yes, it can be a pain in the a$$ sometimes. For me, I would rather be able to get on a train/bus and sleep, read or get some more work done for an hour or so, than be stuck in rush hour traffic trying to get through the Holland or Lincoln...

    OT: Commuting into NYC

I would take the train. Then bus. NEVER drive. Commuted to the city for 13 years (FinDistrict and Times Sq) before getting jobs near home. I took NE Corridor from Princeton Jct. Looking for a new position in the city now actually, so I may start the commute again soon.
